February 7th, 2009 09:48 AM #1Hello po mga tsikoteers,
newbie po ako and I would just like to ask your help in deciding.
I'm planning to buy a 2nd hand car budget is 300k to 350k
Ang pinagpipilian ko po ay:
Honda Civic VTI '99-'00 model
Honda City 2003-2004 i-DSI model

Honda City iDSi is a good choice if you want a practical car but you have to watch out if you are planning to buy the model with the CVT A/T tranny because of design problems when driven a bit hard. They tend to have more accelerated wear & tear issues than your typical A/T. If driven lightly and conservatively, the problem seems to be under control.

having enough dough would recomend the latest model of the two, go for the city since less maintenance for newer models. watch out for overstressed cvt tranny, they're really a pain in the head.....
