HELP!!! CANT DECIDE!!! spark or swift?

Pls help. Im a newbie in buying a car. Pls help me to choose between chevy 1.2 spark m/t (brandnew) or suzuki swift 09 model 1.5 m/t (2nd hand)???

Pls consider that they almost have the same price of 500-550.

Will be used for city driving and sometimes going to upper antpolo and infanta quezon.

Pls compare their style and performance.

2nd hand vs brand new.. hmmm ok talaga yugn swift.. pero check mo muna mabuti.. bring your trusted mechanic.. ilan na odo?

If it's style and performance that you prioritize most, then it's a no-brainer - the Swift not only looks better, it also drives better.

However, keep in mind that going secondhand opens up a new can of worms, primarily with regards to the condition of the car upon purchase. Aside from the risk of having worn out components, you also lose casa warranty. Of course, if you personally know the seller of the car and he gives you full disclosure regarding any repairs that need to be done, it gets much easier. But realistically, that's not always the case.

With regards to the cars themselves, while the Swift is technically classified as a compact, its space isn't all that different from the bigger subcompacts (i10, Picanto, Spark). Its pace though, is much faster, thanks to its 1.5L engine. It also handles much better. What the Spark has over the Swift though, is fuel efficiency. Since you're getting an MT model, the difference between the fuel economy of the cars is about 2 km/L in favor of the Spark.

para sa 500-550k budget, pasok na dyan ang Brand New N16 Sentra GX. Old model pero at least, brand new.

Pero if between the two lang: Swift ako.
