The Fiesta and Vios are more refined compared to the Avanza which is really more of a low-cost utility vehicle, I was surprised at how thin the doors were when I checked out the Avanza at a mall display.
If you want a simple car for going from point A to B, go for a New Vios.
If you want a safe fun to dive, good handling car, you can't go wrong with the New Fiesta (hatch and sedan have the same price).

We had the same problem before, but with a little DIY (some water, sand, and cement), we were able to fix the portion of our driveway and got that extra 1/2 inch of clearance we needed for the car not to scrape its front bumper.

The EcoSport would be a good option if you can wait for it, the current Kia Soul will soon be replaced since a 2nd gen Soul was already unveiled in other markets.

    Fiesta

    Vios

    Avanza

The new EcoSport and 2nd gen Kia Soul

*The 2nd gen Soul might look like a facelift at first glance, but it's actually an all-new model based on the new Rio/Accent platform.
My dad is also eyeing the ecosport few months before when he saw it sa manila bulletin. Kaso i opted to get a car now kasi baka magbago pa isip ng tatay ko at hindi na ako bilihan

Di ko lang sure kung ano magiging effect over the long term since bago lang rin amin.
Yup! Yun nga po!! May plastic cover sa ilalim. I haven't talked to our sales agent ask ko sana pano maresolve yun. Kasi yun din ang sumayad at hindi yung bumper

Before po kasi takaw sayad na yung garahe namen. May Honda City 1.5 po kami dati na sayad ng sayad.

then Mr. Mikemike07 posted here in my thread stating that hindi raw sasayad yung front bumper kasi maikli lang naman yung harapan ng fiesta. So tama nga po sya, hindi sumasayad yung front bumper pero yung plastic cover naman po yung sumasayad.

Baka yung plastic cover has been put there for sayad warning and protection. :p

That is not a "sayad warning" device, those are aero/wind deflectors.
Most C-segment cars (Lancer, Focus, Altis etc) usually have full undertray engine covers, these cars only have flaps/deflectors in front of the front tires.
I noticed that most cars that don't have full undertray engine covers (usually B-segment cars like the Fiesta, Sonic, Jazz etc) have deflectors that run the full width.

Minor scraping shouldn't really affect it aside from some scratches. If possible try to approach those steep driveways at an angle.

Yup. Going forward, it won't damage it. Cosmetic scratches lang.

The real danger is if it catches on a parking kerb or bar, then you back up and pull it out of its mounts.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

I'd say at least 50k, I got mine for 50k less even though Trend variant lang siya.

Seriously get your parking fixed. All your future sedans sasayad dyan which is not ok. Just think if fully loaded ka papasok sa parking, mas lalong sasayad.
