    Hi guys!

I'm a newbie here but i've been lurking around. To owners of:

    1. Santa Fe CRDI & V6

    2. Outlander 2.4 & 3.0

    3. New Pajero CRDI & V6

Please post your actual fuel consumption here. Please specify if purely city, purely highway or mixed city/highway. A short brief on the traffic conditions would be good

    Thanks.

Santa Fe V6 1300km driven so far purely city driving and I get

6.5 km/l super tipid driving (speed between 60-80km)

6.0 km/l mixed tipid driving and hataw driving

of course since my ride is still new this is not the optimal fc yet... fc would usually improve after 5000 km...

    that's not bad at all for a 2.7 V6! for the city, I get the same mileage on my '96 Accord 2.0 A/T [highway 10+], 2000 Starex Club 2.5 A/T [highway 9.5+] and even my 1990 Liteace 1.5 M/T [highway 10+] w/c I sold already. For my 2003 Trooper I get 7.5 to 8 kms/ltr city & 10+ highway.

    Thanks Dragonheart.

Thanks Promdiboy. Can you please elaborate as to traffic conditions & speed. Yung kay Dragonheart siguradong mas mababa sa 6.5 kms/ltr pag stop & go traffic.

SF CRDI 4x2 (3 weeks old)

-Pure city driving with heavy traffic (50-60kph ave. speed) and gear observed * 3rd most of the time with RPM 1.5 to 2K.

Fuel Consumption ~ 6.5-6.8 kpl. I compared this with a 1year old Montero that belongs to a kumpare * 5kpl.

Pero matakaw pa rin sa fuel. Tingnan nalang natin later kung may improvement when it passes the 5K odometer reading.

17M yung sa akin is stop and go traffic yan... yung 6.5 ko is supper light ako on the accelerator as in i was really testing how high i can get the FC...

during my last full tank , I spent like 2.2k for almost 65 liters. this was sept 28. now i have 298km on the trip meter and fuel gauge is slightly above the half line.

these are all pure city Ortigas-edsa-san juan-libis driving.

SF CRDi 4x2, 2,200 km odo reading. (2.5 month old). Mixed city/highway driving - 9.3 km/l. Probably 15-20 minute traffic along C5 everyday.

    1. Bluebimmer - Let me guess, you're from baguio, right? 9.2 kms/ltr on an outlander V6 3.0 is great, considering Baguio terrain, zigzags & thinner air

    2. Ferdine - malakas nga yang SF CRDI mo at 6.5 to 6.8 kms/ltr.

    3. Promdiboy - On stop & go traffic w/ a heavy foot 7.5 kms/ltr on your Pajero CRDI is very is not bad at all

    4. Boybi - Your FC more or less confirms Promdiboy's figures.

    5. Dragonheart - Congratulations on achieving I4 2.0 liter FC on a 2.7 V6

    6. Javoy - Maganda yung 9.3 kms/ltr FC ng SF CRDI mo on mixed ciy/highway driving

minero, ang galing ng SF V6 mo 6-7 kms/ltr city driving. that's a 2.0 liter car's FC on a 2.7 V6. ang dami pang standard features ng V6 na wala sa SF CRDI like 6 airbags & auto climate control. bakit kaya i-nistrip ng HARI ang CRDI version don't they know that the SF CRDI w/ V6 standard features will be a real killer in it's class
