October 9th, 2007 03:20 PM #1Hi guys!
I'm a newbie here but i've been lurking around. To owners of:
1. Santa Fe CRDI & V6
2. Outlander 2.4 & 3.0
3. New Pajero CRDI & V6
Please post your actual fuel consumption here. Please specify if purely city, purely highway or mixed city/highway. A short brief on the traffic conditions would be good
Thanks.

Santa Fe V6 1300km driven so far purely city driving and I get
6.5 km/l super tipid driving (speed between 60-80km)
6.0 km/l mixed tipid driving and hataw driving
of course since my ride is still new this is not the optimal fc yet... fc would usually improve after 5000 km...

October 10th, 2007 12:08 PM #3that's not bad at all for a 2.7 V6! for the city, I get the same mileage on my '96 Accord 2.0 A/T [highway 10+], 2000 Starex Club 2.5 A/T [highway 9.5+] and even my 1990 Liteace 1.5 M/T [highway 10+] w/c I sold already. For my 2003 Trooper I get 7.5 to 8 kms/ltr city & 10+ highway.
Thanks Dragonheart.

October 11th, 2007 09:44 PM #8SF CRDI 4x2 (3 weeks old)
-Pure city driving with heavy traffic (50-60kph ave. speed) and gear observed * 3rd most of the time with RPM 1.5 to 2K.
Fuel Consumption ~ 6.5-6.8 kpl. I compared this with a 1year old Montero that belongs to a kumpare * 5kpl.
Pero matakaw pa rin sa fuel. Tingnan nalang natin later kung may improvement when it passes the 5K odometer reading.
