Choosing between this 2 models of the Wildtrak and your comments, inputs or suggestions will be appreciated.

is the 2.2 engine enough for 4x4?

i will use it for city driving and occasional rough road trips like farm and agricultural lands.

btw, i also considered toyota fj and hilux G 4x4 AT.

    thank you.

the 2.2 is quieter and has less vibrations than the 3.2 - thats what the indians are saying. for city driving thats very important. fc will be lower too.

not necessarily true na pag maliit makina matipid sa gasolina/diesel. icompare mo mga sedans na 1.3 vs 1.5/1.6 na models mas matipid yung bigger engines. case in point toyota vios 1.3 vs vios 1.5, mas matipid ang 1.5. yung kasi maliit na displacement hirap ang makina, mas mataas ang rev bago mag shift ang gear ng a/t. SAME VEHICLE WEIGHT LANG YAN kaya the smaller engine will have to work harder to pull the same weight.

One rule, get the higher displacement. Why? There's no replacement for displacement.

Salamat sir kelvinblank14. I think we are leaning towards the 3.2L wildtrak. But we are also considering a luxury sedan, maybe a camry or mazda 6 since this will be our third car and i will now drive it. The 2 cars we have is daily driver driven for the family.

so maybe pickup vs luxury sedan for now

even the hiace diesel vans that fly through kenon with 15 passengers arent that stressed.

even the pre-vnt fortuners can handle kenon with ease.

either you buy the 2.2 and regret later that you find you need more power or you buy the 3.2 and pay the cost of higher fuel consumption. you can't have both.

    makulit ka.
