Sorry kung may topic na ganito pero as the title says, which one is better? 2011 Hyundai Accent 1.4 A/T or 2011 Honda City 1.3s M/T? This is going to be my very first car and ang concern ko lang is maintenance and alin ang mas worth it and mas matibay? For long term use kasi yung car.

    Thanks!

The Honda City M/T is much easier to maintain and most probably has better fuel consumption numbers.

For now, since there is still no long term ownership record for the new Accent, the Honda City 1.3L would be the better choice of the two.

Sir, ask ko lang kung na-try mo rin i-check yung Vios or the Fiesta? Again if you're still young naman (kaya pa yung traffic jam), I suggest you get the M/T for easier maintenance and better FC.

I saw the new Accent this afternoon while i was strolling around. i wasn't expecting it to have such an appeal. Akala ko nga, one of the few Elantra CRDi na nabenta dito sa Pilipinas. Astig ang looks tapos itim pa yung nakita ko kanina.

Go for the City. It's hard to buy an also-ran car. Resale might be low.

mahal ang maintenance ng honda. And the 10,000 km service interval isn't unique to honda anymore. The fiesta, mazda2, and the accent all have 10k service intervals.

I say go for the hyundai. The honda city might be updated soon, baka magsisi ka pa pag lumabas ang update.

at least the accent is an all-new model, and is A/T for the boot - given proper maintenance the A/T is going to last much longer than the M/T.

and another misconception... the Explorer, Expedition, and the E-150 are American designs. Yun ang mga mahal i maintain at malakas sa gas.

The Fiesta is a European design, manufactured in Thailand, so parts availability and cost of maintenance won't be too different from either the honda or the hyundai.
