Mataas kasi sya but this is advantageous naman sa offroading.
Alam niyo naman background ng Isuszu - the First and Last Name in Diesel Engine.

January 17th, 2008 10:02 AM #35i wonder? Ford Everest is mazda b-pick up trucks in the States and Isuzu likewise only sell pick-up trucks there. Just a thought, are you looking an SUV or a dress up pick-up truck?

January 17th, 2008 06:33 PM #38I'd go for the Alterra.
The Everest has low resale value. Had heard rumors about ranger/everest na tumataob. Although the Everest has the latest CRDI engine compared to our local Alterra(the latest 4JJ1-tcx 3000 DDI VGS TURBO CRDI equipped DMAX/ALTERRA or MU7 can only be found in Thailand), the alterra is more fuel efficient than the everest though the everest is more powerful.

Good compromise between power and efficiency, with the 300 Nm torque band from 1,400 to 3400 rpm. If I remember correctly, the 3 liter duratorque has a narrower band that peaks at 380, but maintains more than 300 Nm torque from 1,400 to 3,400, but then it looks like a guzzler compared to the alterra.
With oil prices shooting through the roof, the FC really comes into mind when choosing a vehicle.
Can anyone confirm reports about rangers and everests turning turtle? the only one I've seen was the 1st gen eve that succumbed to simultaneous hard braking and turning in ateneo.

yun! no problemo! kahit minsan alanganin overtake ko, tulin!
maybe kasi 3.0l alterra namin and 2.5l yun everest namin. both 4x2 and automatic.
i wonder pag yun 3.0l everest namin...
