Guys I badly need your help. I can't really decide on which car to buy for my graduation. I am choosing between buying a brand new honda civic, the new one which has economy mode or a second hand hyundai genesis coupe or second hand BMW 320i around 2008 model. I can't really choose among the three so guys can you please help me? thank you!

What do you factor in your buying purchase?

    Gas? Maintenance?

    Ikaw lang mag ddrive?

Can't really help you if you don't tell us more than just your car choices.

Yes ako lang magdridrive. I love the luxury of the bmw po kasi, the sportiness of the genesis and yung pagka-matipid ng civic.

Stay away from the BMW if you want easy maintenance lalo kung pamilya mo sanay sa Casa prices.

The genesis is actually a good pick if it's been well maintained. You can force seat 4 if need be. The 5 year warranty would mean that the oldest genesis should still have around 2-3 years of warranty left. Yung problem lang is if the car hasn't been regularly maintained and may chance na ivoid yung warranty.

The Civic I'd say is the best for a first-time owner. Nothing beats the feeling of brand new. While the new Civic is nowhere near as revolutionary as the last one, it's by far the 'safest' choice among the three.

    For me:
Toss up between the Civic and the Genesis.

    Need 5 seats?
    Want brand new?
    More fuel efficient?
    Civic.

    Need 4 seats MAX?
    Sporty "gwapo"
Fuel not so much of a concern

What's the trim/model of the Genesis pala? Kung 2.0T base, I think I'll take the Civic.

Go read up on the variants sa hyundai website.

Due to the ratio between ease of maintenance and sportiveness (enhanced by the RWD layout) I'd pick a Genesis.

Tsk tsk!

civic siguro among the choices (ayaw mo ba ng elantra 1.8? compromise between the gc and the civic; mas mura pa). but don't be deceived by the "eco" mode. bet tayo 6-7 km/L lang talaga yan especially kung matic. i doubt a light that says eco will actually make it more efficient than the FD

Lahat yan 7 to 9 or up ang FC average.

I own a GC, and if u plan to make its as a daily driver... pwede sort of. But may mga places you can't go. Madami itong character na you have to live with. And if its manual, ang tigas ng clutch nito. Putol ang left foot mo sa traffic! Speaking of traffic. Its big, hirap ka sa singitan.

BMW - expensive maintenance is given but yun year na makukuha mo nyan mga before ondoy models even the e90. Better think about that. Madami magaling magdetail sa atin.

Just get the civic. Yeah, Its as sporty and luxurious as washing machine. But its something to use daily na wala ka na proproblemahin. Its practical seats 5 and probably carries a lot, good FC i guess with that econo thing and low maintenance compared to the 2.

I'll get the BMW 320i. Then, if I'm the man standing in his shoes, my choices, in order of priority, would be as follows:

    1. BMW 320i - a BMW is a BMW; Mas marami kang makukuhang BMW (Babaeng Mahilig sa Wheels) Iba pa rin ang prestige ng BMW; Yon nga lang, maintenance cost is more expensive; But if you can afford to buy one, then, with more reason that you can afford to maintain it. Kung brand conscious ka, go for the BMW;

    2. Hyundai Genesis Coupe - all I can say about this car is maporma, a head turner, and maintenance would be cheaper than the BMW;

    3. Honda Civic - You can get a brand new unit with your budget, of course, lesser headache and easier to maintain. Pero marami kang kapareho, kaya parang ordinary car na lang. But among your choices, as some of us here suggest, this is the most practical option.

better buy a brand new car than to buy a secondhandcar for your graduation, the fact that ikaw lng magdadrive then go for b.new honda or brandnew genesis coupe 3.8
wag yung 2.0 medjo bitin sa specs.
if di nman issue sayo ang budget ng car go for the best options that fits your needs, not your wants(like bmw)be practical talagang mahal pms ng bmw better replace it w/another car na brand new at least less worries ka sa future.

Btw why won't you consider compact suv, such as tucson, sportage, crv.
Maraming options na dapat pagpipilian it will just depend on your priority, mabuti palitan mo bmw sa option mo ng hyundai elantra 1.6/1.8 or ford fiesta sport variant ang ganda ng exterior nito, esp. yung vertical stripe ng fiesta sport, muscle car talaga. Go for elantra 1.8.
If I were in your shoes right now I'll go for ford fiesta tama lng fc and pms and if there is no issue for financial budget then I go for genesis coupe 3.8 b.new.

Hindi bitin sa specs yung 2.0T (There are three variants).

Sedan? Hyundai Elantra (Not in the Choices) Civic has nice features but the design is plain and boring.. mas nagagandahan pa ako sa altis.
