First car: 2014 Altis 1.6 G M/T vs Honda City VX vs Honda Civic 1.8 S M/T

Unfortunately walang m/t ang mazda 3.. kung ako wag na altis. Wala lang. Para lang maiba naman sa other car mo. Haha. Pero this 2 choices ang karamihan nagpapagulo sa isip ng mga compact sedan buyer. Maybe compact suv or pick up? Para maiba? Suggestion lang naman

I think in terms of comfort, the Altis is more comfortable over the Mazda 3 in terms of suspension tuning. The Nissan Sylphy however seems to be rated the high in terms of comfort.

Yung Altis pa talaga ang overpriced ha?

Usual comments is CIty is the one overpriced.

Eto rin dilemma ko few months back.

Got a 1.6V Altis. It's okay. Kasi compact eh. The space is enormous.

Then after 2 months, we bought a VX because of the big discount. Well mostly used by esmi. Elbow space is adequate for a sub compact.. Leg space is great actually, parang yung Altis ko lang. Kaso I'm a big guy.

Great na rin for city driving. Matipid tipid na rin compared to my Altis. Andun pa yung "toys" like touch screen HU, push start ignition, etc..

Ako nung time na bumili kami medyo may agwat pa din talaga price ni 1.6G A/T and the City VX.

Stretched na budget namin sa City, kaya ayaw na ako pahiritin pa ni esmi to get the Altis hehe

Great choice talaga yung VX actually. Kaso I wanted more space kaya we first got the Altis. Hindi rin nakatiis si esmi kasi choice nya talaga yung City. Syempre kailangan natin sila sundin, baka hindi na tayo pagbigyan eh

If we'd look back around '08, yung presyo ng VX natin close na sa Civic FD.

And yung Altis now comparing dati, pwede na ako makakuha ng CRV

Anyway, do the maths. That's what I always advice. Hindi biro din maglabas ng pera para sa sasakyan. Para kang nag anak ng isa pa. Expenses will always be there (maintenance, insurance, GAS, MODS, chikas JK!). It's inevitable.. Pero kung lintik naman ang dami ng pera mo, eh go to where you heart desires. Test drive lang ng test drive.

Hindi mo rin ata nasama yung Mazda3? Isa rin yun sa choices ko dati. Kaso tatagal samin yung sasakyan.. After yojin, maintaining the car for a decade might kill me.

If you would ask me to choose between the 3, I'll just wait for the new civic

Wala lang, curious kasi ako sa bagong 1.5 Turbo ng Honda.

^^^ The new Civic 1.5L Turbo VTEC might be priced at about the same price or more as the current TOTL compacts. Honda should bring it here just about the same time as Ford will be fielding the new Focus 1.5L Ecoboost. These two models will push further the new trend of small turbo engines which was started locally by the Fiesta 1.0L Ecoboost last year. The new Chevy Trax will also come with a 1.4L turbo engine.

Nakapili na ba si TS? Has he test-driven his choices?
