If I was restricted to the two cars...I'd probably opt for the Camaro.

I dunno, maybe I'm getting too old for Evos. Nothing against its all-out performance per peso, but actually living with one would take a LOT of commitment. (The same argument would hold true for me with the R35 Nissan GT-R.)

Actually making the Camaro dance would be a better challenge for real drivers IMHO. The Evo, especially in its later incarnations, has taken some of the burden of actually driving the car properly away from the drivers with its Super AYC this and AWC that...and in that aspect it's not impressive for me.

Then again, I'm not too fond of the Camaro simply because visibility is a pain.

If the Mustang was in the running I'd pick that. Motor Trend has already shown that the Mustang GT can actually stand toe-to-toe with a E90 BMW M3 in a recent track shootout.

    I'm not kidding:

Sa akin sir, quarter life crisis car siguro hahaha. I'm 25 and I own a 2SS RS V8 Camaro.

Na inlove kasi ako sa looks ng camaro. And ok na ako sa performance niya, tapos comfy pa ng ride.

It's ax versus samurai. I go for the Evo X.

It's a sharper weapon yet more compact and less brutal.

I have seen a review from fifth gear of the Camaro, and according to Jason Plato, its a damn heavy car. I have also seen a comparo between an Evo X and A Nissan GTR, also from fifth gear. The GTR wins by a mile (around 3 second faster than the evo X). BTW, the camaro being sold here is a smaller engined one versus the one sold abroad. Hence, I think it's more on the sluggish side compared to the Evo X.

of course the GTR is going to win against an evo, the power difference is just too huge.

if that's the case i'd rather have the evo, i'm sorry but i don't like attention becase of the car i'm driving. plus more than half of the people that knows about the camaro is because of the movie transformers. at sigurado naman ako kahit lancer ang kotse ko basta walang tint pag titinginan parin ako ng mga tao kasi sa gwapo ko.

we all prefer different kinds of cars. i prefer function over form rather than form over function. i love performance but that's just me. i'm not saying camaro is slow, it is actually a great track car and looks really good compared to the evo. but performance wise, the camaro will eat the evo's dust no matter what kind of race you go to. if you buy your car because you want attention then great for you, but me i buy a car because of it's capabilities if it also gets attention then great.

there are lots of cars that looks plain, but it is more expensive and will perform a lot better at the same time than a camaro that looks better. just look at the cadillac cts-v, it looks plain, but it is the fastest sedan out there and people doesn't even know about it's performance. i bet you don't even know what the cts-v is. another example is the GTR, for the price you can get an audi which looks a lot better than the GTR, but people who buys the GTR over the audi prefers it's performance than looks. heck when the GTR first came out in the states with the price mark up you can get a slightly used audi R8 but people still bought the GTR over an R8 because it is faster than the R8. all i'm saying is, not all people are the same, not all of us buy our cars because of it's looks.

Hehe... daily driver kasi niya yun. Heck, if my personal car was on display, I wouldn't stop at tape... I'd add barbed wire. Some people at these car shows are assholes... touching the cars, sitting in them... letting their children climb all over the seats and bang on the steering wheels... sitting on the cars. Hmmm... maybe barbed wire isn't enough... big bald bodyguard with a taser?

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

1st day of the show kasi wala DO NOT TOUCH sign yan hehe, Kaso alam naman nila na its not for sale pero tinatry nila buksan yung doors, even with the tape. Akala siguro nila pwede nalang hawakan or sakyan hehe.

May iba na ok naman, they ask you if they can check the inside of the car and take pictures of the interior siyempre depende kung hindi rude makipagusap so ok lang yun, pinapapasok ko sa loob hehe.

There was this one kid na may hawak pa na small bumble bee toy pinapasok ng father niya sa tape and yung bata was playing with his toy dun sa hood buti nakita ng nagbabantay ko haha.

Nilagyan ko na nga ng "PLEASE" yung do not touch e. hehe.

Before ko bilhin yung Camaro ko, I thought about getting an Evo X. But I have 2 kids (6 and 4) and I do not race naman and I needed a comfortable sports car. Matagtag kasi Evo X, it's a track weapon , and I do not do track racing.

If I wanted to get into track racing, I will get an EVO X for sure.
