Those cars have built-in launch controls. You can replicate on a normal car by manually figuring out at what rpm you should set your engine speed to be most optimal to launch after releasing the brake pedal.

^^^ Whooaa!!! Look at that new M5! Just a second behind the McLaren 720S and a few ticks behind a 700hp+ Corvette ZR1. A sedan that stick it to the supercars in terms of straight line performance.

No question on the McLaren 720S, great straight line performance and it is one hell of a track car.

They shoulda used the automatic mustang PP1 instead of the manual PP2.Most of those cars are all automatic. The AT is at least 0.5 sec (most likely more) faster to the quarter mile. While the PP2 has better tires for the track (michelin cup 2 for the PP2 vs pilot sport 4s for the PP1), the 10AT must*ng PP1 will eat it alive in a drag race. Can do the quarter in less than 12 seconds bone stock.
