My wife's uncle has two in Pampanga, 250cc ata.
I'm from Marikina nga pala.
i think they still need to be registered imho para wala na lang maging problema.
basta it will be using public roads, dapat i register.
wala yata talaga classification ang atv, pero meron locally assembled na atv similar to honda wave engine, 70k few years then. No brand name atv.
Sir erick,
ATV's are exempted from registration, but it is not allowed to be used in Major roads or highways. Most ATV's today are equipped with safety devices that are useful in off-road conditions. It was designed to be used in those areas anyway. My Brother has an ATV which he uses everywhere, but it is in the province. Given we are here in Manila, were traffic law is strictly enforced (suppose to be), You may only use the ATV within your village area, I would not recommend the ATV to be used on highways or major roads as enforcers will flag you down. I would suggest a scooter with a basket up front instead.
