With a direct seller, per my experience, they are less likely to hide defects and tamper mileages (although some do) as they are still protecting their name/integrity. I myself, when i sell my cars, ensure that everything is okay or i disclose the problem that has to be attended to. Sa Buy and Sell, it's just plain business and they know the ins and outs of shortcuts more than anyone else.

With a direct seller, you can also deduce more how he cares for his car by observing their garage and how their other cars look. You can establish if the car is more likely to be pass floods and potholes by looking at their residential address and surroundings. Through a little talk, you can establish where he usually goes by knowing his office address or where he works.

Buying a second hand car is always a risk, whomever you buy it from. I've encountered three Buy and Sell people and maybe around 7-8 direct sellers to date. Two out of the three buy and sell guys sold me a car with a tampered mileage; with the direct sellers, only came out to be a lemon (my dad's box type Galant which we bought back in the early 90s).

Direct syempre! Since well established name na sila, definitely ang mga kotse nila walang problema since they would want to preserve their company reputation.

i prefer the owner-seller. they're nicer to talk to. especially those who don't really need the money.

Ok lang bumili sa kanila (direct or buy & sell seller ), as long as marunung ka tumingin ng ok, kung hindi naman magsama ka ng trusted mechanic.

Direct Seller or Buy & Sell. Which one is better?
