April 10th, 2010 10:52 AM #1Peeps,
Need your help guys in choosing which of these 2 units should I get. I already placed my order for a CX7 (1st week of Dec 09) but obviously until now no unit available. Casa/agent can't give me assurance when the unit will be available.
I'm getting impatient and now the 2010 facelifted Sta Fe comes along. I already have the specs of both vehicles and they might not be apples to apples in comparisson but your input would greatly help my decision. My concern is that the price of the CX7 (P1.495M) is so close to the Sta Fe (P1.558M). I don't know anything about Mazda/Hyundai's aftersales service, fuel consumption, etc.
What I like about...
CX7
Unique New Design
CBU Japan
Not too many units driving around
Sta Fe
Diesel Engine (though my 1st diesel car, if ever)
features (enhancement)
5 year warranty
Thanks in advance.

SF diesel cheaper fuel costs, bigger, 3rd row seating available and actually usable even for adults, longer warrant. interior is not as polished as the mazda's. dark grey interior with tacky fake wood panels . if you're into american cars the santa fe is one car purposely designed for the american market ex: foot brake, mommy mirror, soft suspension.
CX-7 better looking exterior, interior, handling pero gas so expect 5-7 kms/liter
