iam buying a 2nd hand car and iam choosing between the two.. please penge naman ng advice kung ano mas mganda in terms of:

fuel consumption
maintenance/parts (price & availability)
convenience / comfort
resale

btw the prices are:

corolla 197k - civic - 180k

corolla - power steering leak pero repairable pa naman daw sabi ng mekaniko

civic - yung isang bintana ayaw na gumana (power window)
- yung aircon mahina kya nag iinit daw makina? pero napagawa na nila dati.

I aasume the Civic is manual?

fuel consumption - hands down the Corolla LE.
reliability - I would lean towards the Corolla just because it's newer
convenience-comfort - The Civic would have more space and better ride, but handling, I would go for the LE.
resale - I would say a tie.

Just to add. For me, the Corolla LE's acceleration is amazing for a 1.3li - almost out performing 1.6li sedans of other brands of it's time.

Watch out lang doon sa power steering leak - it could also be very expensive depending on where the leak is.

You may also want to check rin how many kms already each car has travelled.
