If you're considering the GV, check out the discounts for sure malaki kasi hindi siya gaano mabenta. And you're limited to two colors, white and silver.

Allenjo, congrats to your wife for seeing the light (with regard to Korean brands) and for choosing Santa Fe. When my wife and I were car hunting 6 months ago, I saw the SF and told her this was "the one". Our main considerations were seating capacity and space. Cant say much about the other technical stuff but I knew it was the perfect fit for our family (we only have one kid but I have 3 siblings who usually ride along with us). Okay na sana kaya lang di kaya ng budget. So Grand Livina nalang. Hehe

*EQ....congratulations on your Santa fe also on the other thread. If you read this thread from page 1 youll notice how bizarre the final decision went from the initial list down to the santa fe. Kala mo dark horse when in fact it wasnt even considered in the first place. I guess there is truth to the saying that when a woman gets mad, she really gets mad and throws caution to the wind. The santa fe was off the budget pero i think nainis na sa akin with all the information i was feeding her.

I even got comments like, "disadvantage pa nga na maalam ka sa kotse kaya litong lito ako" .....ahhhh women.

None yet sir...no formal launch yet from HARI. They are very much tight lipped about it. For me, it seems too OA naman that they are not giving out little teasers lang just so as to keep the market abuzz with it. I mean the santa fe naman is not enough to rock your world so to speak for them to treat it like its an ultra secret product. Sobrang mum lang sila about it. Even a close friend who works in HARI doesnt want to mention anything. But the launch is in august supposedly.

What an interesting and informative thread, especially the portions on the XV which is one of the cars I'm considering but I'm least familiar with.
