Mahina ang AC ng Ford Territory 1st Gen compared to all our previous cars, mostly Civics. Kahit ung 10 year old Civic ko mas malamig ang buga kahit tirik ang araw. Parang hilaw ang lamig ng Territory and I did a thermometer test 9c lang sagad niya. From babad sa initan, mas mabilis din lumamig ang buga ng old car ko. Ung tipong in a few seconds ramdam mo malamig na ang buga. Sa territory akala mo nakapatay ang compressor, mahigit 3 minutes bago medyo lumamig ang buga.

Also, try daw disable auto climate feature, then set to the desired temperature settings.
Baka sa auto climate feature yan, although sa unit ko na non-ford na naka auto climate settings, malamig naman. Pero 2.2L diesel kasi tong unit ko.

1.8 ang Civic ko, we don't use auto climate. Max setting agad pag andar, then hihinaan na lang ang fan later. Pero ang thermostat, hindi inaalia sa 16c, sagad palagi.

I mean sa Ford Territory nyo po, try nyo disable Auto climate settings.
Then set to desired temperature (16C if eto max settings ng Ford territory).
I am suspecting sa Auto climate feature yan, baka hindi maganda algorithm ng Ford auto climate feature when auto adjusting temperature settings ng AC sa ambient temp inside the car.

Also, if mahina lamig buga na parang hangin lang then malamig lang after ilang minutes, I think expected yan sa auto settings.
Sa unit ko, I set fan to high muna for 2 mins.
Reason is para mabuga lahat amoy kulob if meron man.
Pero depende na sa inyo if during ON, cold agad ang mag activate.
Nawala kasi amoy kulob ng car ko if I set fan to high muna for 2 mins everytime i turned on the unit from cold start.

Hmmm, pwede pala magsabay ang manual at auto climate? I'm not sure of this yet, I'll check sa manual. Pinacheck ko ito sa casa as part of warranty, wala naman silang binanggit na ganun, they just said everything is normal naman including refrigerant level.

I think sa Ford territory, nasa headunit yung control para ma disable mo Auto settings ng AC.

Sa unit ko, may switch for auto only.
But if I manually switch fan (increase or decrease fan settings), auto is automatically switched off.
Then I can switch temp settings and fan settings manually and it will stay on that settings.
I need to press Auto button to reactivate auto settings.

Also, my car has Auto and Sync feature, since dual climate yung feature ng AC ko.
The front passenger can set his desired settings or press Sync para both passenger and driver has same settings (Auto, temp value, Fan speed).

Before, up and down lang alam ko before about sa steering wheel adjustment.
Until I searched sa youtube, may push/pull settings pa pala if supported ng car.
If comfortable siya sa steering wheel position nya, he didn't bother touching it anymore.

Parang walang kaibahan with the other Jap, korean and US brand cars in the local market. Ford Everest, Ranger, EcoSport, Honda CVTs and Nissan Sentra comes to mind about really bad defective cars. To the point a car owner painted how he hated his Ranger on the vehicle I have personally saw how bad the early Everest was.

I think, correct me if I am wrong, Lemon Law will apply if pabalik balik ka sa casa for the same issue(s) na hindi maresolve ng dealer. It should be documented na naka 3 tries ata yung dealer and hindi pa din solve and need pa din ibalik para isama as supporting document sa DTI.

Yung sa Geely Makati dealer concern, I'm not sure yung about sa paint issues niya, if that is Geely manufacturing itself, or handling of the local distributor or the specific dealer na (Geely Makati in this case).

Yung delay sa parts pag may need for replacements, pag sobra tagal for it to be ready sa side ng Geely PH/Dealer, how do they handle it? Bibigyan ba nila yung customer nila ng loaner vehicle for the time being while they are unable to complete service? On the one hand I can't say it should be common, but sa 4 years ni Geely sa market, known din na concern ang availability of parts for after sales right? Nagpress release din sila na they are trying to improve it as far as I recall (early this year I think - maybe?)

Not a Geely owner pero, at the end of the day, kawawa nga pa din yung owner/buyer... but at the same time... this was known issue as well right?

Bakit pinabayaan aabot sa ganyan unit nya?
If fuel pump issue to, they shouldn't have let the SA or Mechanic to jump into conclusion na OK na w/o clear details why he conclude so.
Yung may fuel pump issue yung Toyota and Mitsubishi, look at how they handled it properly.
Same scenario din ata sa unit nito, probably may defect din fuel pump ng Geely that needs a recall.
The manager handling the SA dept should have done his job properly para hindi aabot sa ganyan.

Look at tuloy, bad image agad sa brand.

Fuel pump issue din, naka stambay for 4.5mos unit nya sa CASA.
Dahil kabisado nya lugar na CASA, pinuntahan niya ang yard at dun nakita na naka bilad lang sa init at ulan unit nya.
Dami ng water marks ng exterior.
May naiwan pang milktea at potato corner sa loob ng unit.
Also, exposed then yung cover ng fuel pump.
Binaboy yung unit nya sa CASA.

That will be extremely difficult to do because China is the Philippines' no.1 trading partner (overtaking Japan during Duterte's administration). A full on boycott of any product with components made in China is practically impossible.


Even the beloved Toyotas have a large percentage of components, including engines, made in China (even if these cars are assembled in SEA).
