Yes as I mentioned earlier, hindi kasing fuel efficient ng G4 ang Vios.
And agree din ako sayo sa Vios na medyo malambot yung suspension sa likod, kasi I believe it was designed for comfort, ang drawback lang is sayarin ang likod sa mga humps na napakataas. Pero on the brightside, pag nag ccruise sa highway at medyo bumpy, mas damp ang suspension ni Vios, thus mas comfortable sa pasahero mo, or may added comfort para sa pasahero mo, as opposed sa very stiff suspension.
But to be fair with the Vios. May kalambutan din naman yung G4 rear suspension. Pero hindi naman sya naging deal breaker issue ni G4. So I think hindi din naman reason ang suspension ni Vios para hindi sya iconsider.

How about better quality interior of the vios compared to the plastic interior of mirage.
Ground clearance is also higher sa mirage kaya di masyado sumasayad. Pero malambot din ang suspension ng mirage.
Higher quality?
If we're talking the 1.3E... only marginally so.

Both cars have relatively soft suspensions, but the Vios is slightly better in this regard. You'll only really feel it with a full load of five plus luggage. With the Mirage, four on board already causes a significant drop in ride height.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
Thanks guys. Tingin ko rin kay vios is good. Since.mrmi gmgmit. Means ok din tlga.. my friend has a vios 1.3E. Naalala ko yung sa suspension n yan. May nangyari n nalubak sya then bumigay suspension. Knowing that halos bago pa vios nya.. and lagi nya reklamo is lakas daw s gas.. dahil lumaki daw body ni vios.. pero kht pano thumbs prin ako kay vios.. since prehas ko nmn sya tiningnan. Di ko nga lang na test drive..

So ano pinili mo?

Kung g4, may solution sa soft suspension. Palitan lang ng kyb springs.
Surely will sir.. thank you.
Im also thinking about the mirage g4 MT and CVT.. do you guys know kung ano mas fuel.efficient? Cvt or manual? Iba raw ksi cvt ngyon.. sbi ng google.search.. mas.fuel.efficient daw.. totoo kya?

CVT more efficient. but may have long-term durability issues. it's basically a metal band with a continuous stack of metal pieces to form a flexible "belt" which are then pushed through variable-size pulleys. definitely not as durable as metal gears
Judging by that scenario, it seems that that CVT has ways to be a tad more fuel efficient than its MT counterpart.
Not sure though. I hope other tsikoteers na may experience in both transmission ng mirage could enlighten the TS.
Pero personally, I'd rather go with the CVT. Especially if you live in an area that is prone to heavy traffic.
it will probably depend on the type of traffic.
i imagine, in city, stop and go traffic, the MT will be more fuel-efficient.
for continuous highway driving, as arvs above says, it's 2K versus 3K rpm.
but these are thought experiments only.
let's wait for actual driving experiences to show here.
May kilala din ako na bumili ng stock spring ng swift at kinabit nya sa mirage. Could be the same person but unlikely.
Im also considering that fact as well na gera lagi ang traffic sa edsa.. kya bigla ako napaisip if ituloy ko yung mt or switch ako s cvt..

My m/t is at around 3krpm at 100kph. Although hb sa akin.
Torque wise, it starts to come alive above 2krpm.
Heard the cvt is lifeless to drive.
Fuel savings between both is minimal. So ang binabayaran talaga sa a/t or cvt is yung convenience.
