I think the Jazz fits all your requirements. The new Fiesta isn't bad as well. A lot of toys just like the old one. But since your other option is a 1.5 Jazz, I'd take it on this pick.

It's comfortable, has relatively good FC, and easy to maintain.

Definitely the jazz! Since its the top of the line model youre looking at. Hands down the best looking hatch right now (at least for me). If you were only looking at the base models though, id get the fiesta.

The high-end Fiesta models are pretty much loaded too.
Some of the new features found in the New Fiesta Sport hatch and Titanium sedan include the following:
An upgraded voice command system (It now uses the Sync system just like the Focus)
    Smart Keyless Entry
    Push Button Start
    Rain Sensing Wipers
    Auto On/Off headlamps
3-point seatbelts for all 5 occupants.
Leather seats on the Titanium and Partial Leather seats on the Sport.
    Spoilers on the Sport
Other old safety features like ESP (Electronic Stability Program) and Hill Launch Assist are carried over.

    New Ford Fiesta Sport (P868K)

    Honda Jazz 1.5V (P857K)

go for Jazz 1.5V much better, ahead of its competition when it comes to ride, comfort, Maintenance and After Sales Market Value is mataas and hindi sya nakakasawang tignan...

I have a Honda Jazz before and if you would like I could look for you a good dealer that could also fit your needs.

Maluwang rin ang loob ng Jazz compared to other brands under the same category. Test each one of them and see which one clicks.

PS: I saw a white Fiesta Sport displayed at Theater Mall, I think it will be there only until Sunday, they normally change the display on Mondays.

Base model as in the Ambiente with steel wheels and full covers?

I think the Trend looks ok.
The only pics i've seen of the Fiesta Trend so far are from sul*t.ph which we can't post here, but I did find a photo of an identical looking model from china.

Here's the link if the photo above is not showing: http://car0.autoimg.cn/upload/2013/3...0316594122.jpg

These are the new alloys of the Fiesta Trend.

Here's a local spec 1.5 Trend MT hatchback

The 1.5 Trend Powershift looks identical to this (like a MT but with foglights)

The 1.5 Ambiente sedan (only pic of a local Ambiente model I could find, had to crop the photo and edit out the source since it was from a classified ad)

I think the Fiesta has proven itself not just here, but globally.
It's not only one of the best selling B-segment hatchbacks in the country, it's also one of the best selling B-segment hatchbacks in Europe where it has a long 37-year history.

sir hindi yata ganun yung wheels nung nakita ko sa gh. parang madaming spokes yun. but anyways still not a fan of the wheels. i know how sporty it can look with a set of te37 replicas. my bro owns the pre-facelift fiesta eh. lowered it and had the roof wrapped. looks really really good. and i think the base model is a steal for its price.

i think proven na nga ang fiesta. if kapos ang budget for the top of the line jazz, it cant get any better than this. pero sana walang problems sa new engine. i bet wala naman. they wouldnt upgrade it if macocompromise ang reliability anyways.
