1m is an abitrary number. you're just quoting it because of convenience. this convenience may put you at a disadvantage. so right off the bat i suggest you have a more flexible mindset based on proper evaluation of yours needs/wants versus your cash flow

that being said, go for the lowest priced "good" car that'll satisfy your requirements. you really don't need that more expensive car. invest the money instead

this is only valid if you have limited money. if you're loaded then my all means spend just a bit more get the new civic or other more expensive cars

Personally, I'd get the Hyundai Accent Sedan 1.6 CRDi GL AT. Diesel na so super tipid nyan. ang lakas pa ng hatak. 136 HP and 260 Nm of torque. wooh!

if you're not a big person, get a toyota wigo. it's frugal, good, basic transportation, at half your budget.
and should you decide to sell it later, the T badge says it should be easy to sell at a good price.

The Wigo is 1.0 pala. How does it feel like running at 100 kph with one passenger?

BTT: I think the TS should give more parameters. Just saying any vehicle below 1 million is way too broad.

    1. Brand new or second hand?
    2. Subcompact, compact, AUV, pick up?
    3. Priority? Comfort, price, style or fuel economy
    4. Brand preference

    etc etc

The Suzuki Celerio CVT is the most fuel efficient in it's class so they say.

i think TS is a very new-bee. he still doesn't have enough exposure as to consider these factors.

i don't reach 100 kph. my heart might give out from fear.
    grampa driving, that's me.
    heh heh.

i did try out the new model.
gusto kong putulan o tabasan yung center console/divider. tumatama sa right lower leg ko. un-comfy.
is it possible, the vehicle was originally designed as a right-hand drive?

It all boils down to your preferences on what you want to get out of your budget. What works for others may not be a priority for others. Set your requirements and test drive your options.

Honda Jazz, tamang tipid sa gas, maliit kaya madaling magmaniobra kahit masikip. Spacious ang loob.

So far pinagpipilian ko yung Ford Eco SPort, Honda City, Honda Jazz and Mazda 2. Kasama sana Mazda 3 na 1.5 pero wala na daw stock sa dealership dahil magkakaroon ulit bagong facelip ang Mazda 3 sa September.

City hands down. Added safety because of the boot plus isolated ang amoy pag may groceries ka sa likod.

The Mazda2 offers an edge in driveability but the Jazz wins in utility. The City though is the best choice for a small family car. Choose the one that meets your requirements.

If you want a driver's car with ample performance for below 1M, I would have to go with the Fiesta Ecoboost. My little monster is just a joy to drive. 2 years now and it is still as mean as I brought it home.

How is the fuel consumption of the Fiesta Ecoboost in heavy traffic?
