    I'm 5'10", 230 lbs.

The car that I would choose that has more space than all of the cars you mentioned (and in your budget) would be the Honda Jazz.

For everyday use, ang tipid nito sa gas, taas ng resale value, and you'd be surprise at the space it has to offer. Go see for yourself. When I compare space sa car, I bring the driver seat all the way back and see how much space is there available sa likod.

As much as the Honda Jazz is a clever little car,... sometimes there isn't no substitute to driving an actual bigger nice looking car with a powerful motor under the hood.

Curious ako sa Jazz mo. Kaya ba nya 5 persons w/ 5 duffel bags at the back? (for out of town trips)
Balita ko hirap sya sa akyatan pag puno. 1.5L engine eats gas like no tomorrow. Kelangan mo raw kasi i-Rev para magkaroon ng power.
Gusto ko bumili ng Jazz, pero those prevents me from buying it. Mas mahal rin kasi sya kaysa ibang comparable bigger cars.

You may not believe me but I already had cramped in 7 adults in the car, complete with their badminton bags, some as large as duffel bags.

Am pretty sure the 1.5 won't disappoint. Bear in mind you are going to use this as a daily drive, right. I already climbed Baguio with my 1.3 with 4 adults and bags and it did it with ease.

Then again, you may be a sedan man. I may recommend also the Elantra. I drove it and it is quite spacious. Can't say much of the resale value and quality yet though.

I suggest you get Black. very elegant ang color. since this is your 1st car , i think mataas pa ang pagka-"OC" mo. just bring it to a quality car wash regularly.

Great Choice, Silver is the easiest to maintain among the other car colors...
Black is really hard to keep clean and you always have to DETAIL it to get rid of those annoying SWIRL MARKS...

I have the Thermalyte (Silver) Altis unit myself, bought the car Oct. 2009, swirl marks are almost invisible very hard to see with the silver color....
