Have you considered a Vito? Might even be cheaper than the Alphard with a discount.

Don’t want a Mercedes Vito/V class, puro sakit lang ng ulo ang naririnig ko dyan, a friend is desperately trying to sell his V class, mas happy pa daw sya sa old Super Grandia nya

I guess it's better to wait it out then. Wonder how long before supply catches up with demand. I'm sure the POGO guys are all over this.

Will be have a similar choice soon. Gonna replace our 10 year old hyundai grand starex in a few months.

Toyota Phil just had a price increase including the Super Grandia. the elite model is now almost 3M.

Did you check out the Honda Odyssey Ex-navi? or the Kia Grand Carnival?

The Odyssey is too small for a van, yung Kia Carnival naman mahina daw pangilalim according to a friend who had one and sold it agad. Kung ako lang ok na sa akin yung Super Grandia na naka captain’s seat kaso nung nakita ng misis ko saka daughter ko yung Elite, yun talaga gusto nila. Ok naman sana ang Grand Starex but it doesn’t help that we have 5 within our family saka sobrang tagal na ng body nya, kung may all new Starex, pwede I consider yun

Pucha ganyan pala presyo super grandia. Hinid bagay sa itsura!!!!

Ganyan itsura hindi mukhang 2million. Pang 1.5 lang. Parang lamang lang ng konting paligo sa urvan.

I think this will normalize at 3.2M. Sabi ko kasi senyo ibili na kayo nun introductory pa lang last June ba? 2.7M pa lang elite na

And Atoy Customs is even raising the price of this grandia even more, grabe ang mods niya sa socmed sa mga celebs na bumile neto, May CR, may big screen tv, may bed, may strobe lights etc etc..

Yaman ng Pinoy, they can afford sleeper vans na hihi.

At 3M, plus 1M mods by Atoy. Papatak na sa 4M nato wow!

i find the patrol, too huge.
even the fort is too big for my neighborhood.

    Hello Sir!

    Nakabili ka na ng van?

Anyway I got the opportunity to ride a new grandia gl. suffice to say ok na sa akin iyon. I appreciate the space and refinement it has. So I think the Grandia Elite can only improve on those fronts. Kun may driver lang din naman Grandia Elite it is. Personally the only reason I can think of getting the Alphard is you have to have the last word in refinement that a gas v6 has or from time to time I personally would have to drive the thing.

Hello, I was able to buy a previous gen 2011 Alphard with only 19k km on it, never really liked the 2015 up Alphard, it looks too flashy for me. Hirap din kasi makakuha ng brand new Super Grandia, not to mention na sugapa pa ang mga casa ng Toyota cause they have a hot cake on their hands. Overall, I’m happy with our purchase and since we got this for less than half the price of a new Super Grandia Elite, nagdecide yung wife ko to just keep our Grand Starex pang errands and whenever we need a big car tapos matatraffic para hindi ganun kalakas sa gas. Of course being a used car, it needs some attention, first in the list is to change the brake pads which we’ve done na, the air filter and the A/C filter will be replaced as well, the tires are still the original ones and have a lot of thread left on them but they’re way past their expiration date and since I find the stock wheels of PHDM Alphards really ugly, I’ll be changing the wheels as well to something bigger that suits my taste. By Saturday I’m gonna bring it to my trusted detailer because it is in dire need of detailing to bring back that showroom shine and freshen it up overall. As for the ride, wala akong masabi, ang layo sa Starex namin and it even trumps my dad’s 2012 USDM Toyota Sienna minivan which has a damn good ride comfort itself.

Why not new starex again from gray market? Nagulat ako, na ang baba na nga ng ground clearance ng starex. Mas mababa pa yung sa hiace

Starex is RWD. Pansin ko lang with the Hiace, the engine compartment and bumper are longer vs the GS, compromising legroom despite being 150mm longer.

The Alphard is like a blown up camry. Sharing its engine and some underpinnings. And yeah its FWD.

The Alphard has an AWD Option while the Starex has a 4WD option.
