If you want a diesel engine and if it is ok for you to get a second hand car why not try kia carens... Somebody is selling their kia carens at the kia crens thread pictures are posted as well. For me having both kia carens and innova d4d makes me lean on the kia more. It has a better ride a much powerful engine and no problems with the injectors as well. Try contacting the owner of the car for a test drive.

October 14th, 2010 02:32 PM #12Which variant of the Everest are you looking at? Is it the 3.04x4 or the 2.54x2? If its the 3.0 and at 800k then its a steal assuming that it was well maintained. If its the 2.5, its still a good buy, again assuming that it is well maintained. The Everest belongs to a higher class than the Innova, its off road and flood wading capabilities are among the best in its class, and its less ubiquitous compared to the Innova which is the new volks wagen literally speaking (though there is good reason why it is). In the power department, the 3.0 Everest lords over its competitors, having 380N-m of torque as well as 156 horses attainable at just 3200rpm. But then, the Everest exhibits a harsher ride due to the rear leaf springs. As for fuel consumption, the 2.5 A/T variants of both should not be too far from each other. The Innova has the more frugal engine, but the Everest has the more efficient 5 speed A/T.
