The cheapest car is free. You can't get any better than that.

My wife's family had a 93 Nissan Sentra, they sold for P90,000 with only 70k km. Kaso marami na problema. We were even able to sell our 89 Mitsubishi Lancer EL with 180k km for P120,000. Balita ko nasa Bataan na raw.

Best and cheapest usually don't go together when you talk about cars. I think your question should have been, what's a good cheap car for Php***K budget?

if you're talking about 'bang for the buck' 2nd hand car, then any japanese (isama mo na rin ang ford lynx) brand other than honda or toyota will do.

noong 1998, the best cheapest car you can buy is a 1998 kia pride 1.3L GTX trim, manual, brand-new for only: 220 thousand! mom ko binili nya matic(hoping madrive nya, pero hindi nya nadrive, lakas ng kaba) for only 240 thou!

another best cheapest car would be the kia rio hatch/sedan..alam ko mga 300-350K lang mga yun noon.

now, i think accent, rio, getz na pumalit. ung diesel accent/matrix, 500-600K,e... pero sulit na cars, efficient, "more than ample power" and spacious, lalo na ung matrix.

unless you would consider norkis legacy a cheap new car...mira w/ pick-up bed, some matic, some 4 doors, some w/660turbo 5 speed, some all power, and mostly w/ thin seats and vinly mating w/ RHD light and wiper switch..aircon at additonal, pero at less than 300K include mo na ung aircon, pacarpet, decent stereo, tinting and palit upuan sa banawe/evangelista, di ko sure kung kakasya pa ang pa-campershell, aircon, upholster ng pick-up bed)
