February 27th, 2014 09:44 AM #1hi guys!
i'm going to be replacing my car sometime june of this year. for a budget of 1M, which vehicle do you suggest? i've always driven sedans so an altis or civic would be my default choice but i'm interested to hear your views when it comes to other types like crossovers/compact suvs. vehicle will be used mainly for city driving with occasional out of town trips.
thanks!

If I'm in your shoes, I'd be torn among the following:
Ford EcoSport Trend MT 825K
Ford Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost 6AT 898K
Toyota Altis 1.6G CVT 900+K
Hyundai Accent CRDi AT (FL) 888K (?I think)
Upcoming Nissan Sentra/Sylphy 1.6 MT
Honda Jazz 1.3S MT (750+K)
Suzuki Swift MT

February 27th, 2014 11:33 AM #5I'd wait for the new Mazda 3 and see what it comes with. 3 years of free maintenance for a daily driver is too hard to pass on plus the Skyactiv engine.
Else, I'd be looking at the Ecosport, taller ride for under 1m.

Mazda 2 1.5R is good too. It's bit smaller than the Fiesta on the outside. But not uncomfortable inside. Lightweight and offers Yojin 3 too.

At P1M your safe choices would be an altis or a civic
But a Top of the line Ford EcoSport should be worthy of your consideration

February 27th, 2014 05:50 PM #8+1,000 dito. Berjaya says that the new Mazda 3 will come out summer of 2014. So June lagpas summer na yan. This car is one of the nominees for World Car of the Year and World Car Design of the Year 2014. That already says a lot about this car. None of the other cars mentioned above can boast of this.
* one of the last 10 finalists na pala, not just a nominee.

Since yung spare tire nasa labas ng sasakyan. Ano tawag dun sa lock na nilalagay sa spare tire para...
