July 22nd, 2012 11:16 PM #8If you are a safe buyer, get the Civic. Despite being "all new", its basically just an improved FD, which isn't a bad thing. I'd only get the Focus if I'm after the latest fad in the market. Besides, its 1.8 versus 1.6. This makes the choice easier.

The Civic 1.8S AT is just way overpriced at 948k. For only 10k more, you can get an Elantra GLS which has the ff. over the Civic:
- 6-speed AT (vs the Civic's 5-speed, though both are good trannies)
- 16" rims (vs 15s on the Civic)
- Side mirror turn signal repeaters
- Fog lamps
- Rear parking sensors
- Heated side mirrors
- Leather steering wheel
- 60/40 split-fold rear seats
- 6 speakers (vs 4 on the Civic)
