Is monty's maintenance every 3 months/5 km whichever comes first?

Good day po mga sirs at bossess, this is my first time in posting here in tsikot although I have been a member for quite some time. My wife and I are planning to buy an SUV before the year ends especially that the proposed revised tax code is nearing its possible approval. We would just like to get some advices and your opinions on the two vehicles which we are choosing from namely the ford everest trend AT and the isuzu 3.0 LS-A 4x2 (blue power) AT. My family is residing in northern cagayan province and I am currently deloyed here in nueva ecija and I will be travelling almost weekly going home if my job permits me that is why we have chosen an suv for the vehicle that we are going to purchase since we will also be using it during out of town trips... Thank you very much po sa mga magiging advices nyo...
Paps, I suggests list all your priorities between the two. Good luck Lakay..

I have both monty and mux and everest sa brother ko... mux has bigger cabin but matigas yun seats nya low maintenace and ibelieve it is the most reliable ppv since simple lang sya less electronics and the engine is i think mas tatagal kasi hindi puersado low power output with high displacement...monty naman is full featured and powerful most advance mivec diesel and powerful ( power to weight and displacement ratio)engine among the list.. fun to drive.. everest comfort but high maintenace poor casa service ,every time you change oil or even battery .. you need togo and pay casas for resetting... hassle and expensive especially kung out of warranty na.. yun monty ko as of now is the lowest maintenance cost... libre labor all types of filter up to 30 k km pms plus i pay only for the oil. Wala ng iba during 5 k pms cost only 600 to 1200. Top up lang kasi since 600 per bottle sila.. some says 1 liter lang some2
Lol.. Mawalang gala na po. Youre spreading the wrong words Paps. Twice a year ka lang paPMS sa Everest which means less hassle sa schedule and it take only 8-10k depending which Casa. So lumalabas na 16K lang ang gastos mo a year which youre paying for the comfort and safety na di kayang ibigay nung iba. Yung iba 4X ka punta sa Casa. And 1 more thing, di na kailangan pumunta sa Casa when youre changing your Battery. Spread the rigth words Paps..
As for the OP, Test Drive pinakadaBest talaga, with your way na lagi kang long drive, I suggests you get the most comfortable and safety to drive. Good luck Paps.

How much would the trend price? I got my monty 4x4 at 1738000 last april it has 7 airbags and fcm, auto leveling lights. Auto wiper and sunroof.. my brother bought his everest at 1.9m totl for 4x2 with panoramic roof. I guess additional feautures that it got from my monty is not worth the cost against 4x4 and engine power of monty. You pay 8 to 10k for everest pms becausethe oil is used for 10 k with out top up.. monty oil is also use for 10 k km except you pay only 6k with top up.. during your 20 k pms your eves maintenance will burst up to around 15 to 20 k with fuel and air cleaner filters involved. I seldom use car and when i use it i want to enjoy the driving.. especially the power.. thats y i use monty when i drive and mux when i have a driver... parang ang bigat dalhin dahil pag makupad.. yun ranger ng friend ko medyo hirap nung nag karga kabi ng 2 big bikes sa likod... still ranger is lighter than everest with same engine... what more pag puno yun everest... ok lang pag patag but ahon sa sagada medyo hirap pag puno... 3.2 would be a best choice but cost around 2.1m still its slower than monty..
About cabin space naman, if hindi naman puno lagi ng pasahero, it won't matter much. Pero need to consider yun driver seat space, baka medyo bulky or broad si driver kailangan feel niya "at home" siya sa cockpit.
Regarding mux engine, have to agree na reliable with the B10 rating saka tried and tested na. Pero hindi lang naman mux ang tried and tested, may mga rangers na tumagal din without encountering major problems sa makina which is the same with the eve. Electronics wise, well hindi pa natin masasabi yan since karamihan sa mga all new eve with all the electronics is relatively new pa. Puwersadong engine? Panalo mux dito. If there is one disadvantage ng eve talaga is yun power to weight ratio niya. Lalo na trend, smallest engine (except pag nilabas ng isuzu yun 1.9 blue) with a heavy body.
Casa service is not that bad, so far ok pa naman dun sa pinupuntahan ko. Kapag out of warranty na, nandiyan ang banawe para sa parts and I don't think it will be expensive, mapapamura ka sa mura haha.
Good day sa lahat and happy motoring. Keep safe.

Put in mind that these ppvs are not built for speed, cornering or agility. These are design to move people and conquer some roads where an ordinary sedan cannot.
Hehehe
