April 11th, 2016 05:03 PM #721bro, kung ang issue eh ung adoptation ng a/t sa driving style natin, eh cguro naman bago nila gnawa ung acceleration time ng mga sasakyan eh adjusted na ung transmission sa driving style ng mga testers, if im not mistaken it takes a week para matest nila ng maiigi at makapagbigay ng accurate review, although hindi man 100% at least close to reality ung mailalabas nila sa motoring public.

April 11th, 2016 06:25 PM #722Agree Bro, kaya nga sabi ko pakiclarify. I watch some Ausie and Indian reviewer ng Endeavor which is the same as Everest dito sa atin, sa umpisa nga medyo di maganda ang response sa arangkada ang AT. Pero habang tumatagal na ginamit within a week sa review period nila, eh nagiba raw ang response base dun sa driving style ng reviewer. So meaning yung mga Test Drive na within 30mins is not enough to compensate the adoptive transmission. Kaya sabi ng iba di responsive, sabi naman ng iba ang gaan at mabilis umarangkada.. Kaya mix perception ang nangyayari..

From my point of view Mu-x and trailblazer offers the best space for the 2nd and 3rd seat occupant
1.MUX/TRAILBLAZER
2.Fortuner
3.Everest
4.Montero - the 3rd row parang awkward yung seat eh ``
I didn't test drive any SUV when we bought the MUX 3.0, I only check out the new PPVs after we bought the latter since Im hunting for a car for Harabs purposes that can accomodate 7 people and has a bigger luggage space than the MUX. I think the Fortuner gets my vote for my harabas purpose since the G manual isn't too bare like the Everest. The downside is that the fortuner G has only the 2.4 gd engine compared to it's little brother the Innova offered with the detuned 2.8 gd engine that is available in all of it's variant =)

516.2kms for 3/4 tank on my 2.5L 4x4 A/T MUX, purely city driving. Sana ganyan din katipid ang Montero GT, decided na ko kumuha, ilabas ko ng mga June siguro.

The big elephant in my head: 2.4V Fortuner or 2.2L Everest Titanium Plus?
I'm scratching my head on which to get really. I originally wanted the 3.2L Everest but I heard that acceleration figures are quite identical with the bigger powerplant being better at highway speeds (100km+). Seeing that this will be a 95% city driving vehicle, I need somebody to convince me to get one over the other.
Yes, I have driven them both from private owners. Kulang nalang I'll just label a coin with both cars and just flip it. So before I make the splurge, help convince me please. HAHAHAHA. As a general I-am-torn-feeling, I like the Fortuner's exterior and interior but I like the Everest's ride overall. I doubt I need the Everest's gizmo's but I do know I'll enjoy the power tailgate and third row buttons (I am lazy) at the same time I place a high premium sa start/stop ng Fortuner (seriously, 2M car without it? Even subcompacts have it)
I have come to that point where I cannot decide and this absolutely baffles me since first time lang ngyari. Deciding a compact car is way easier.

April 11th, 2016 09:29 PM #729If you don't mind Sir, may I suggest, go first for head to head battle for specs. specially safety features, better NVH, and its capability in unexpected scenario like floods sa metrto manila. The higher the wading depth the better sa mga bahain na lugar. Yung push Start Buttom is a plus but there is also a disadvantage scenario. What if nalaglag mo yung key at nabasa..
Second, yung comfortability lalo na pag nastock ka sa traffic. Di maingay sa loob ng car, and di ka nabibigatan sa manibela lalo na sa mga tight parking.
And Third, ask your friend kung bakit pinili nila yung Fort or Eve. Then its up to you to balance the cons and pros between the two model.. Hope you can decide soon..

it would take a good load of checking, and even then, things could always still remain honestly...
