Yes, 4x4 variants are heavier. Additional weight is due to the presence of a transfer case, and front wheel drive mechanicals, (axles, diff, etc.). In some cases, 4x4 variants come with a bigger engine too, so again added weight.

january 2016 nung kakakuha ko pa lang ng eve 3.2 ko sinabi ko na mabigat ang eve. 2475 kg ba? not sure on the weight but it is heavier by 400kg something over the 2.2 4x2 eve.

if you are just basing it on test drives (AND EVE TEST DRIVE UNITS ARE 2.2 TREND MODELS) sasabihin mo talaga na malakas hatak ng eve. the 160 hp of the 2.2 engine is more than enough to give you that adrenaline fix. pero pag nakasakay ka na dun sa binili mo na 3.2 (like me, tested the 2.2 then bought the 3.2) e MABIGAT. lalo na nung sa akin mga unang labas ng eve e siguro pinapakiramdaman pa ng fordph so tuned down ang engine. ONLY AFTER THE 1ST 1000KM PM DID I FEEL THE POWER OF THE 3.2. mas lumakas na siya after the 1st pm kaya nasabi ko last year na ganun nga feel ko tuned down ang engine.

i've only tested the 4x2 monty. kung 2.2 4x2 eve vs 2.5 4x2 monty then its almost all butt feel. halos pareho sila, depende na sa apak ng pedal. for me lamang monty, much lighter ang feel. the eve after all has heavier body panels. pero pag eve 3.2 4x4 vs monty 2.5 4x2 lamang ang monty ng malaki. laki ng weight difference. HOWEVER this comparison is not equal. yun lang kasi 4x2 ng monty na-test ko so i can not comment on the 4x4 monty. dapat talaga if you will compare the eve 3.2 you must compare it to the 4x4 variants of the other brands.

Yup 4x4 monty ko heavier by 100 plus kilos than 4x2 that is around 1 ton. Lightest ppv on the market due to its alum engine .

alam ko bumile ka ng Fort lately, yan talaga gusto lahat ng Filipino bumile ng fort para pare-pareho kayo. novelty and prestige loses value at least aesthetihicaly pag pare pare kayo say sa parking lot ng starbucks tagaytay. i even commended toyota for raising their prices more, kasi economics yan eh, when people spend more on a car texhnically they are foregoing the other opportunities of the increase so hindi sila makakabile ng may mabibile pa ng say people who bought the discounted mux or monty.

i like people pointing to the crowd mentality dept coz they subconsciouslly think they have the roght decision pero they lose individuality.

i never like Toyota a d I will never buy a Toyota unless yun na nga kung totoo yun smuggled land cruisers dito. why land ceuisers are rare, but what's even more exciting is getting it at the price of a top of the line fort.

pero toyota in general is a masa car with less features. you just pay for the brand and in turn the next gen Fprt will be even more stripped down and people will buy it more expensive pa. yan ang marketers dreams, the fairytale that is Toyota, mga uto-uto coz they are blindly hypnotized by the brand

That's what im saying. Let them be happy kung mag fanboi siya sa chosen brand niya all his life. Doon siya masaya. Haha. Icorrect na lang ng tama kase wala tayo magagawa if ayun yung experience niya na kahit ang tagtag and eh tuwang tuwa siya. And even tag tag and sulit are subjective. LOL. Pag may nag claim base on his experience. Wala tayong magagawa doon experience niya yon. All we can do is provide info about our own naman. Parang review vs review lang yan eh. Kung may 100 reviews at 5 lang doon says the otherwise compared sa 95 Let the lurkers be the judge kase sila yung hindi pinaka bias dito. Dahil sila pipili pa lang.

Compared sa monty medyo patas pa. Pero sa fort I pretty damn sure na talagang malayo ang difference. Oh well hindi nga naman patas. Sa australia nga sa prado nila minamatch ang eve lol.

Like they've said, let us be happy with our chosen car. Everything is subjective naman eh. But please be reasonable when you post something here. There are a lot of members and lurkers here that reads out posts to decide which PPV to buy. Hindi yung kesyo sabi ni ano sabi ni ganyan ano daw si ganito. You all know what I mean.

Hindi naman ako nangangarera sa daan. Basta ako happy sa 3.2 ko. Hindi ko kailangan diinan ng todo ang gas pedal or press a power mode button whenever I need to overtake. [emoji16]

Sa pangit ng service nila dun, nagihing stereotype na, if Ford gamit mo, poor ka ganun. Same goes to Chevy. Sikat dito sa pinas kasi siyempre, American Brand. Although maganda rin features niya, the best probably dito sa pinas, pero brand yung issue dito para sakin. Reliability wise nope. We wouldve got a Ford if it werent for it.

Not just features... pati performance...

Remember the best Vehicles in thw world doesnt come from japan... its from european countries.. even the best engine in the world is not japanese...

You dont buy a car only because its reliable.....

You buy it for its overall performance....

And besides... lahat naman yan will last for 10-15 years.... unless nalang Kung WALA KA NANG BALAK MAGPALIT ng sasasakyan for the rest of your life....
