safety features are useless, until something happens.
then, you'd ask why you didn't get it.

On the flipside, over reliance on these new technological safety features can also be dangerous. I still believe that safety begins with driver, and no amount of today's technology can effectively "neutralize" the nut behind the wheel.

Paps, useless talaga mga safety features na yan kaya nga most of them are seen on high end toyotas like the LC200.

But seriously, pinaka useless na feature sakin ng eve is the active park assist. My definition of useless as in never ko pa kasi na try lol. Nakakatakot eh. Anyone care to share their experience with this?

ako naka-Ranger wildtrak top-of-the-line with all the bells and whistles. This is now my favorite car. I used to hate these electronic breakthroughs in cars pero being inside one, parang ang sarap ng feeling din pala, para ka futuristic. sa display instrument panel pa lang as well as the 8in head unit, tapos mismo sa instrument kita ko kung ano nag-play kung music sa playlist ng iphone ko. wow, parang i'm so in the future.

i like the toys of the Ford. at eto pa, tahimik ang diesel engine ng Ford. para ka naka-gasoline sa loob ha. pero sa labas maingay, pero not that ingay na maririnig sa mga japan diesels

Paps does it also have... adaptive cruise control, headlight auto dimming and levelling and terrain management? Same lang ba features nya sa TOTL premium ng Everest?

Pag nag ka pera kasi ako.. palitan ko Ranger ko ng bago...

Paps hanap hanapin mo talaga yung technology na yan...

Oo nga no, meron pala syang "ref" sa may dash nya.

This is a very useful feature.


Meron pa pala, meron syang hook sa likod ng driver and passenger seat, para sabitan ng grocery bag. Another useful feature.

I am happy with the Fort 2.4V. Ito yung napili namin after testing Fort, Mont, and Eve. Kung pwede lang sana na techs ng eve, engine at price ng Mont, at exterior and interior finish and reliability ng Toyota, doon na ko. Haha anyway

Mont:
-disappointed sa quality ng interior yung plastic trimmings sa door yung sa may switch ng mga windows eh yung grey plastic. Mas maganda pa yung nasa mirage na premium which is glossy black plastic.
- dapat itetest drive ko to, ang problema sira yung parking break ng itetest drive ko, di kame naka andar.
-good price point
-masyadong maalon yung ride for me lalo na pag malubak based on our previous mont.
-yung engine niya and techs panalo talaga.
-Front view panalo pero ayoko talaga ng side and rear view ng mont. too tall looking lalo na in white mukhang ambulance for me.

Eve
- ganda ng titanium plus. Wala ko masabe sa quality ng interior.
- the techs!!!! Nuffsaid.
- Gusto ko rin yung floor mounted na 3rd row. Madali iset up at iligpit.
- ayoko ng space sa 3rd row. I think this one has the worst space sa third row.
- parang masyadong maliit yung engine na 2.2 para sa mabigat na titanium+
- known naman gaano kahirap ang pyesa ng ford. It takes weeks and mahal. And reliability issue rin di lang sa engine kung di sa lahat ng parts. (Had the focus ghia totl 2008)

Fort
- i like the looks and quality of interior and exterior.
- i hate that it is super bare sa techs. I have to spend 12-15k for TPMS. No electronic stability control, has cruise control but not adaptive at kung ano ano pang safety feature ni eve. Pero it doesnt make Fort an unsafe vehicle.
- 2.4 engine is fine with me. Di naman kame nag totow.
- reliability. Yes new engine pero the brand has proven that they build reliable cars.
- space sa interior. Best among the three since every row pwede mo i adjust if needed space.
- I am getting used to tagtag of Fort. Haha! i dont think it is that bad since yung niece ko na sanay sa 2014 honda city ride was able to sleep sa second row. Heard no complain from her eh reklamador pa yun.
- i hate the price. Ang mahal!!!
- jerky transmission issue. So far wala ako na eencounter. Thank god. I think Toyota resolved it properly. Wala na yung issue na yun.


Sana gumanda ang service ng Ford. Sana patunayan nila yun in this coming years na reliable sila dahil yun na lang naman ang major weakness nila.

If I have to choose for a second car, I will choose Eve.

FTW! Though malamig nga ang aircon ng Fort. Lagi akong naka 25-26C sa lamig. Pag mainit naman 24. Going below that sobrang lamig na. V-Kool Tint gamit ko. Sa inyo anong temp setting niyo sa oto niyo? Gusto ko lang malaman kahit iba iba tayo ng tolerance.
