Thank you for the suggestion ... so Ford Everest Trend it is ... regarding the Toyota Fortuner ... why do they have to install 3rd party headunits and accessories ... that's what's nice about the Ford Everest system ... it's all nicely integrated ... not installed aftermarket ... even Honda is using AVT with some of their units ...
Rode at the back of a Toyota Fortuner ... ride isn't that bouncy ... wondering what the fuss is all about ... daily driver is a Honda CR-V ...

It's cheaper to order it bare from Thailand then just add the head units locally. They do the same for leather seats. Any accessories that they can cut costs on, they will - perks of being the market leader.
People expect their Fortuner to ride as nicely as a crossover, which will never happen because it's a truck. Then they complain and bash the car. Even the Everest and Montero have inferior ride quality to crossovers.
But in reality, these bashers are few and far in between, it's just that they make a hell lot of noise online. On the ground, the sales numbers show that most people are unperturbed.

March 11th, 2017 11:59 AM #1733bashers are noisy. and i daresay, some bashers do not even have justifiable experience or knowledge of the vehicle they are bashing.
satisfied customers are quiet, because they have nothing to complain about.

Have heard quite a few people who complained about the Toyota Fortuner's ride ... mostly those who rode in the back ... mind you, didn't ask them about the ride ... they see a Toyota Fortuner and make the comment about the stiff ride ... those who own and drive the vehicle don't really complain about the stiff suspension ...

In Thailand the Montero sport is the cheapest in the low spec and high spec 4x2 AT categories. Their discounts here arent that substantial(relative)and the numerous features that they removed just makes the pricing here not so competitive. Its cheap because of the plastics possibly...
