Seen the Dubai version sa motorshow this weekend. I'd like to share some pics buy I can't post. Overall exterior is nice big improvement on the rear, no complaint on the front. Interior wise medyo tight ang shoulder room, i have everest where I compare it. 8 inch display, 3.0 liter engine (gasoline only) rate at 160kw. Price here is 116k dirhams around 1.6m pesos.
Just sharing. I'll try to post pic if someone can tell how to do it using my phone, forgot my password can't open my account sa laptop.
^bummer, I thought pics nung model haha

Hi sirs, need kopo ng advise nyo hindi kasi ako makapag decide which of these two Montero sport or Fortuner 2012-2014 model with 60k below mileage. this is my 1st car if ever. maraming salamat po![]()
Performance-wise. Ramdam turbo lag ng Montero, lalo if 2.5L 4D56 non-VGT. VGT Montero is quicker. Fortuner VNT has more linear feel.
Suspension wise, malambot Montero pero maalon lalo sa highway, parang bangka minsan, can be nauseous. Fortuner mas stable feeling pero mas matagtag, also nauseous. Compromised talaga suspension ng PPV, either malambot na maalon or stable na matagtag, your choice.
Space-wise mas malapad Fortuner. Kasya tatlong medium to large adults sa 2nd row.
Montero, hassle ifold or setup 3rd row kasi magkahiwalay ang seat base and backrest, ilan steps para mafold and stow.
I find myself more at home driving the Fortuner. Preferred ko rin 4-spoke steering vs 3-spoke, more places to rest my hands when driving long distances.
Just my observations from actual experience. Hope it helps.
This is one of the most objective ownership observations I've read about these PPVs. Usually kasi sobrang binibida ng mga tao yung PPV nila akala mo wala nang mas gagandang kotse pa eh.
I agree with the feedback on the engine, ride quality, and space. The Montero is the faster and softer car, the Fortuner is more matagtag but doesn't feel floaty and has less power but delivers it linearly so it doesn't feel inadequate.
