November 18th, 2017 09:58 PM #3111Nope.
"Trust?" that's the magic word maybe.
I'll be happy if nagawa ko yan sir. Kaso to tell you thetruth walang ng oras for that. I just keep on reading and keep on asking sa web bago ako umuwi. We sold already our APV kaya sa two weeks time ng vacation ko ayokong kunin pa ng test drive. At baka maubos ang bakasyon ko wala pa ang unit. Result tunganga sa bahay. I easily trust people lalo na pag hindi ko kaya ang ginagawa nya. I trust the brilliant ideas here. Saan ka pa libreng magtanong. Marami akong hinahangaan rito pagdating sa ideas regarding buying new car. Pero i need to counter check also. Am not saying nga mali mga sinabi nila, kanya kanya na talaga ng preferences siguro.
PS. For me, primary purpose of car reviews is to give ideas sa aming average buyer. Also test driving is an opportunity sa may mga oras.

Many people who have driven both back to back have already said that the 3.2 and 2.2 are comparable performance-wise. The 3.2 is a solid proposition if you need the 4x4, but remember that it's also 640k more expensive than the 2.2 Trend. That's enough money to buy a brand new Vios.
Sayang, the 2.2 Trend and 2.2 Titanium are really good value variants of the Everest. You'll be missing out on a great car just because you perceive the 2.2 engine to not be good enough.
Since you like reading car reviews, you might want to take a look at this:
The 2.2-liter may look small but great things do come in small packages.
Despite its size, the engine pulls along nicely and there is plently of torque at low revs. A light prod of the throttle is all that is needed to get the Everest going. Jump on the acclerator pedal and the Everest lunges forward with gusto. There is still some turbo lag but thanks to common rail technology, a variable geometry turbo and a slick shifting automatic transmission, the Everest remained smooth, refined and punchy.
With ample pulling power available all the time, overtaking with the Everest was a no brainer. Around the city and along highways, the Everest never missed a beat and kept on the power whatsoever.

I'm not an Everest fanboy (or a fanboy of any car for that matter), just chiming in from a neutral point of view.

November 18th, 2017 11:14 PM #3114Okay lang kahit maingay sa labas, unless you plan to load people on your roof rack and afraid they might complain of engine noise/high NVH Levels?
I personally think, mas mahalaga overall noise level sa loob/cabin. Here's hard facts I found on the net, they use Decibel Meter(not tancha-meter, LOL) and I just hope they're not biased.

November 19th, 2017 01:26 AM #3120Not really but the engine itself... 5 cylinder... extra piston ... block ,cylinderhead, conecting rod . Valves and cam weight...
Montero is suposed to weight more if 4x2 and 4x4 is concern... since it has 3 differentials frnt centr and rear compare to 1 rear differentials on 4x2 but its difference onlyis a 100 to 200 kg
How about 97 LXi?
Civic horsepower
