Bro.,- in the previous gen,- MS is priced higher than the Fortuner... mainly because of the features it brings in/with the units... And yet, they competed head-to-head with volume....

Now, MS still has more features, but is pricing it approximately the same with the Fortuner...

Could be the Everest factor? Which is now increasing their prices... Oh well....

Yup,- internal operational cost is one big issue with pricing (together with desired profit/market share).... This is the biggest gap for analysis....

Well its really hard to convince other people when it comes to safety, but for me i find it a good opportunity to purchase the monty, with the whole package you have its really good value for money..and at some point Mitsubishi is building back again public trust so I'm sure they wont screw up.

No one will gamble the safety of their family no matter how many discounts they offer you cannot compromise the safety of your family. mahirap na kakaba kaba ka habang nagmamaneho ka na baka magkaroon ng problem

But the previous gen Montero had very big discounts bro. Compared to the token discounts given by Toyota. And there was that thing with their employee discounts finding their way to other buyers.

Ford might be trying to go upmarket, pricing the Everest at a premium.

Just got back from the Mitsu 4x4 Camp.

Must say... if I had driven the Montero more extensively off-road and on-track before we did the five-way SUV vote... I probably would've voted it 1st over the Everest.

Granted, still not as much grip as the Everest on the standard tires, but the steering and body control are excellent, and off-road, the long stroke suspension is absolutely superb compared to the Fort's stiff set-up and the Eve's limited articulation.

Also got a go in a Montero drift car.

Hanep. Di pa tapos yung suspension tuning pero... hanep.

Sa last gen ba ganun din bro? Kumpare ko got his GLS at around 1.1M+. Granted dumaan sya sa merong employee discount.

Pagkaalam ko sa service and parts bumabawi Mitsu. Prices were through the roof! Not sure if this is still true today, for the new models.
