deal breaker for me, the V model 4x2 only has the 145 hp(?) 2.4L engine and price is 1.779M. bare na bare. and the center panel looks weird. if i will pay that money i might as well get another ford everest but in 4x2 2.2 titanium premium trim. more power, not bare. kaso lang nga i will end up with 2 of the same.

i'll just convince the wifey to keep the sorento another 2-3 years.
I was in the same predicament 3 months ago, fort 4x2v or the eve 4x2 titanium. At around 1.779M, I can get the just introduced 4x2 eve titanium with premium package by adding a little bit. I ended up buying the 4x2 eve titanium with premium package.

But if I had the money, I also agree with minicarph on getting the bare fort and the TOTL everest with premium package. I still can't get the notion that "toyota is more reliable and trouble free vehicle" out of my head.

and that, is why toyota is at the top of the heap right now. because they have more fans than the competition.
they did their homework, and they are riding on their reputation built from investments of yesteryear, while the rest of the competition is still trying to build theirs up.
it is not because their product is the best. it is because people believe they are.

Arguably,- that is the reputation that was built over the years....

Hard to accomplish,- but you reap the fruits of those long years of being a trustworthy supplier.....

Why? What is the problem with your Innova bro.?

For me, it was the other way around [if my perception about your experience is correct],- it was the Innova that brought my faith back to Toyota...

Although I have not bought another Toyota after our Innova....

    chempo chempo lang siguro.
    i haven't replaced anything non-consumable, since i got it in 2005. and it's done 105K km already.

we have 3 toyotas in the garage. 2003, 2005, 2012. none of their steering systems needed fixin', ever.
although, the 2005 did give me some initial misgivings, when the rear evaporator sprung a leak on year 5 (?). but after that, ok na until now, 10 years after.
