    and for the rims i'm planning to get either a 15's or 16's.. mahirap na pagkinailangan ng magpalit ng rubbers.. hehehe.. and nadinig ko most guys who have 17's.. sumasakit daw ulo nila sa kaka-alaga.. hehe..

    nga pala sir mazzipino.. kamusta ang project mo sa HID mo??

    may 17's na.. onga daw.. maintenance wise.. wag ng lalayo sa 16's.. hehe..

    Depends on the car.

    Sa Civic, maliit ang 17's. Nyahahaha. 20's nga, kasya dun eh, but it's not that drivable already.

    Sa City mo, 16's would be fine. ;)

    yun nga din ang kinakatakot ko sir eh.. baka pagsobrang laki ng ng rims eh tatama na sya at hindi maganda ang ikot..

    planning to have 15's.. but would consider 16's.. hehe.. thanks sir.. ;)

    Di lang yun, madali mabengkong yung oversized rims.

    16's would look fine bro, i've seen a city with OEM jazz rims on plus lowered. Panalo sa ganda. But kung stock height siya, I dunno if it would look that good.

    1-1.5" lang naman ang drop ng springs usually.

    hmm.. with stock springs sa ganung rims.. tingin ko nga hindi magandang tignan..

    baka sabihing trying hard maging jazz ang wheels.. hehehe..

    anyways.. for rims and tires.. hindi pa naman ako nagmamadali.. so kukuha pa ko ng maraming feedback.. thanks for all the wise words and advices.. ^^

    For one, upon quick visual inspection, you can't eventually determine whether 17s are already under-inflated (especially those with sport sidewalls) lest you use a tire psi gauge.

    Sometimes, you'll oversee under-inflation and the 17s would still run flat, ruining your mag lips, bengkong etc.

    At dapat din mas maingat dahil madali ito sumayad sa gutter.

    Pero maintenance-wise, mas madali linisin ito (depende sa dami ng spokes: most 17s have 5 or 6) at mag-spray ng brake and joints cleaner sa wheels.

    If it's just ordinary Rota (not Realite or anything branded stateside/JDM), 17s are heavy and your engine will need a little more push to accelerate.

    But I have no plans to downsize those in my cars .... yet.

    I'm looking at 13x8 wheels and 1.75" drop for the Astina's new look.

    AFAIK, mahirap humanap ng low-profile 13" tires dito sa south eh.
