The old Altis had a boring interior compared to the Optra, but it was a much better car, mechanically. The new Altis is better, period. But the Optra is cheaper. I'd suggest you test-drive both first, and see where your heart leads you. ;)

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Altis for me. Reliable, dami parts ng toyota, matipid sa gas and mataas resale value.

Sa una lang mura ang optra. pag sinama mo maintenance costs and gas consumption, in the long run mapapamahal ka rin. and sa altis kapag binenta mo mataas pa rin ang balik sa iyo

+1 din ako dito. The Optra has nice interiors but an Altis is still an Altis. Maintenance and performance-wise, I think the Altis has the Optra beat hands-down.

    Altis
matipid sa gas, mataas resale, mura and readily available ang parts, reliable. its a toyota.

Sakit ulo ang Optra kaya konti na lang nakikita mo na brand new optra on the road, sobra lakas pa sa gas parang SUV.

Teka isn't the Optra a Korean car? Diba Daewoo lang yan rebadged into Chevrolet? Sana ganun din tayong mga tao sana palitan ko lang pangalan ko to "George Clooney" maging crush ng bayan na ako :D

Performance...resale value....brand name....all points to the Altis....no biased here for the Optra but I don't see this car as a bestseller even if they bring down their prices...so for me...Get the Altis

Haven't driven an OPTRA but my officemate sold his after two years, malakas daw sa Gas. Noticed lang thatit had a 'slightly' more interesting interior.

I owned an Altis for 5 years till recently sold it to upgrade. And as what has been previously posted already...its reliable, good fuel consumption (even after 5 years i was averaging 12-13 Km/Li mixed city/hiway driving).

Up to you Bro, but +1 on the Altis for me.

New 1.6M/T Altis or New 1.6M/T Optra?
