Mga sir ask ko lang alin ang mas maganda na pang family car sa dalawa..

factor din yung fuel effiency,handling,speed,maintenance,features etc.....

medyo naguguluhan kami pumili.

They`re both overpriced seriously. I wouldnt recommend either of the two for you. Wouldnt you want to consider other brands? ( i.e. hyundai, mitsubishi, kia, toyota )

But well, for the sake of comparison here are my observations....

ALTERRA

> Bigger
> The entertainment system is really good ( the two 7" lcd screens mounted at the headrests )
> The sound system is also good, considering that its still stock
> Faster. ( It comes with 3.0 )


SPORTIVO

> Old style
> Slow
> Reliable when it comes to hauling packages/people
> Good entertainment system



OTHER CHOICES YOU CAN / MUST CONSIDER:

> MONTERO SPORT
> HYUNDAI SANTA FE
> TOYOTA FORTUNER
> KIA SORENTO

The alterra`s price is in the 1.6 - 1.7m range right? Add up 150k then you could get a dodge nitro which is priced at 1.850

what about the new sorento? ang ganda talaga istura niya with a 2.2li crdi engine. siguro nasa 1.7mil price niya.

For all its negative comments which hinges on its overall looks and being pricey, the Alterra has

-better ride than a Fortuner.
-better cabin trim than the Montero Sports.
-a more thrifty engine compare to the Everest.
-more sturdy than the Sorento.
-more offroad capability than a Sta. Fe.

Of course, after all that praise for the Eve... I'd rather take the Montero.

kaya pala almost 10% lng ang bumili.

Well, most of Alterra buyers I know seem to be very satisfied with their purchases....not like other SUV owners of other brands.

As for the Sportivo, it is usually the AT models that tend to dismay owners.
