yeah yung mitsubishi kamuha nga din. well just like what i thought before, dadami din ang ganitong looks. fiesta look... imagine if darating yung hatch dito and gagawing cabs, para na rin ginawang cab ang fiesta...

This just proves kung gaano kaganda ng pagkaka-design ng fiesta. Dami kumokopya (or puma-pattern ).

I got a theory kung bakit ginagaya ng accent ang fiesta. Parang reaction sa criticism/review ni jeremy clarkson. Look at this hyundai accent 2005 review.

Parang sobra bias talaga sya, pero syempre natural naman sa tao mapikon, kahit bias ang criticism. Ewan ko lang kung ano gagawin ng hyundai pag sinabihan sila ni jeremy na nangongopya.

Medyo bias nga si Clarkson sa Ford, he does own the Ford GT!

Pero in some ways agree naman ako sa kanya, the old Accent is boring... I mean just look at it you know where he is coming from... Atsaka sa UK kasi super duper baba ng resale values ng Korean cars duon yung tipong 5 years na halos wala ng value...

Di gagawing taxi ang hatchback model for sure... It will remain sedan duty... Atsaka itong Accent hatch mukang magiging high end offering along the lines of the high end sedan...

Mukhang i30 yung bagong accent na hatchback which was a flop , but im 100% sure na hinde flop ang accent pag dating dito

matagal nia nang nabenta ung GT40 nia. i think he replaced it with a gallardo. season 8 or 9 siguro un when he talked about it. he may have loved the driving dynamics of it but he sure hated its reliability

i remember there were episodes when he has yet to take ownership and was still waiting on delivery. the price daw kept on increasing from the time he made a reservation to even before he took delivery. when it was launched, there were initially only 10 or 20 slots i think for uk? and he was on that list even taunting some rockstars for not being in that list. haha

EDIT: unless you were talking of THE original ford GT.
pero i dont have recollection of him ever talking about having the original Ford GT, having watched religiously seasons 1-14. di lang ako masyado nakawatch ng season15 and the dec. 2010 specials.

Binenta na ba nya? Di ko ata napanood yung episode na yun... Atsaka di yung GT40, luma na yung GT40. Yung Ford GT is the modern one that looks like the GT40 of the old days...

reasons to get the accent hatch over the fiesta

- 5 years warranty
- korean cbu
- hindi naka-glue like what the owners in the fiesta thread are complaining
- fiesta, it's still an american car who think they're BMW when it comes to parts
- fiesta gas fuel lid security concern. now that kabi-kabilaan na naman ang crimes against cars.

- and last but not the last, accent hatch is a combo of boxy and fluidic designs unlike the ilook itlog look of the fiesta. even the jazz looks better than the fiesta bec. of that formula combo

for me I'll wait for the diesel accent & fiesta before deciding. Kung alin ang mas mura at fuel efficient doon ako. So far ang fiesta ay may review sa australian website na ang consumo ay less than 4L/100 km at her present 1.6L tdci engine with detuned power output. Pag kinabitan mo ito ng german made power boxes (race chip, mal, etc.) sigurado na "power to surprise" (Kia pahiram lang po ng phrase) talaga sa highway. Still you can keep its economical city driving by disconnecting the "power box" because this is just plug & drive modification.

Pang matagalan kasi sa amin ang sasakyan kaya fuel consumption wise ay
winner ang diesel against petrol model kahit pa na mas mahal ang acquisition cost ng diesel car. Well.. personal opinion & choice ko lang ito.

Going back to the topic.

For me, mas Ok pa din ang CRDi Accent. So if you really like the new body Accent i suggest you wait for the CRDi version. It is much thrifty and much much much more powerful than anyyyyy of the competition. My Accent CRDi, i acquired some two weeks ago is one of the last units ng HARI, they were offering me the 1.4L gas at 578K pero we declined the offer. I bet that model cant match the smiles per mile na binibigay ng CRDI ko ngayon. We actually got another unit kahapon (Old CRDi) hahaha...
So, until that time comes (malay mo may CRDi plus AT combo na nun). Ford Fiesta Sport muna ang vote ko.
