    You said it! Last Saturday our garage was flooded and water got in my Dad's sedan .. si Hammie sitting pretty..err gwapo pala and was bone dry the next day! If I got Getz last friday, I would have a brand new but stinky car today. I guess that's my sign that I made the right decision. :jump2:

    Yup, mej matalbog nga pero the high ground clearance, easy maneuverability and cozy interiors more than make up for that naman. Tsaka I don't mind the bouncy ride.. feeling ko authentic truck driver nako.. haha fantasy daw.. :bwahaha:

    Yup! Btw, caloyski5, what is the O/D for? When should I switch this on? Oh and what's the switch on the left side of the wheel (below the aircon on the driver's side) for? Sorry kung stupid questions ah.

    the switch below the a/c vent and at the left of the steering wheel is, if i remember correctly, the power side mirror controls..double check ko na lang later..kung may L - R yun nga yun.. keep the o/d on na lang ;)

    Sige I'll keep O/D on starting tomorrow.

    Yung switch po na nasa driver's side.. above nung side mirror switch. It's color red and beside a red light that blinks which I think means the alarm is on??? I'm not sure if the switch is for the alarm though because it doesn't do anything when I switch it on although alam ko nakadisconnect yung alarm.. which now that I think about it is weird coz the light blinks nga...

    o/d means overdrive. kumbaga sa manual transmission, may 5th gear ka. this is for highway driving, para mass less ang consumption mo sa gas.

    Ahh ok, if it means fuel consumption then ergo I'll keep it on at all times ..haha!

    yung snorkel, para sa intake yun. dun kumukuha ng hangin yung sasakyan. kasing taas ng roof yun. para pag lubog na buong sasakyan mo, umaandar pa rin. hehehe

    windshield stickers detailing shops, experts sa mga ganyan.

    palinis mo narin yung interior ng truck mo, baka mabalik pa nila sa brand new condition.


    Btw, better have your trucks undercoating checked, pag lagi ka sa baha, kailangan tingnann paminsan minsan yung undercoating para di kalawanging truck mo.

    I think yung intake pipe ng Jimny is headlight level, wag mo ilusong sasakyan mo pag lampas na bumper, kasi nga gas yung sasakyan mo, at hindi diesel. pag nilusong mo yan, sure maka lampas ka sa baha, pero kawawa naman ignition system mo sa katagalan.

    ** about the O/D dapat hindi naka ilaw sa dashboard mo maraming nagkakamali dito pinagbabaligtad nila kung naka off yun or naka on...

    you can also use it when overtaking para malakas ang hatak nya hindi ka mabibitin dahil matagal syang mag stay sa hi rev...

    pero pag cruising ka na balik mo sa normal ON yung wala ng ilaw sa dashboard...para hindi matakaw sa gas
