....in the long run, i still think the jimny will turnout to be more reliable.
the bouncy ride of the jimny can be remedied by changing the shocks and proper tire pressure, some pro's of the jimny over the getz are: stronger suspension, high ground clearance, less complicated suspension(cheaper to mantain). Con's are: small rear legroom, smaller luggage area, bouncy ride.

pro's of getz(i think): better ride, roomier rear legroom and luggage space....con's are: weaker suspension(compared to jimny) lower ground clearance, parts availability....

....these are just my opinions, i might be a little bias w/ the jimny 'coz based from experience these mini trucks will last a looooong time....it really boils down on your preferences

ot: saw ur post at 4x4ph, ask them w/c one to get if u lyk the jimny,
    goodluck

for an everyday car. para sakin getz. more comfortable, more space.
tska di naman siguro mag o-off roading si shybabe. di kailangan ng 4x4.

Dati may vitara kami. lagi lang siya nasa 4x2. we never used the 4x4..
My complaints are: mahina aircon, malakas sa gas, mahina ang engine (for a 1.6 A/T).
Mas ok na ang brand new. kesa sa second hand suzuki.

ang only reason for me to get the jimny is pag bumabaha sa dinadaanan ko.

    bumabaha nga ba shybabe?

what shop exactly? anyways, malabo na kilala ni ate yun..my sis considers her jimny as a ride from point A-B..not really a car girl..lalo na at Junior Intern na siya..sobrang busy..no time to even have the car washed AND serviced regularly..jkaya bilib ako sa jimny namin..the itsy-bitsy truck that could. hehehe..baka tito ko kilala niya since he's also addicted to suzukis. hehehe

you may not need 4x4, but you may want it if you think you'll enjoy the form of recreation it makes accessible to you.

kahit naman yung mga 4x4 enthusiasts dito hindi naman kailangan ng 4x4 hehe, but they play around in off-road parks, go to mt. maarat anytime (kahit umuulan pa hahaha), go up high peak in luzon, drive to mt. pinatubo... adventures that wouldn't be possible to them without a capable 4x4.

Depends on how you will need it. We have a Jimny and its really great, so medyo biased ako. The Getz is nice, but you're pretty much limited to it being a small car. The Jimny on the other hand, can do lots of wonders! Sobrang OK rin pang out of town specially on rough roads.
