Our Office namin has 12 adventure service vehicles. We started using them after we decided to replaced all our Avanzas. Medyo mahina ang Avanzas kung for business and araw-araw binabiyahe ng malayo so we decided to switch, specially since diesel ang adventure. We never considered the Xwind mainly because walang Dealer ang Isuzu near our office and not familiar with it.
Unlike the the problematic Avanza's the adventure performed very well. Our 2 adventures purchased last 2010 are now over 160,000 kms pero no major breakdowns. In fact it still looks very new. Drives like new, paint looks like new.
Many of our employees are excited because we dispose our vehicles at a very cheap employee price , ( 1/6 price of acquisition value, 4 years to pay at no interest) when they reached 6 years old. We have 2 adventures for disposal next year and employees are eagerly awaiting them.
regular 5,000kms pms is also cheap at P1,800 and we replaced timing belts every 80,000kms at P8,000 including labor.
I guess it is also very true that mechanics are very familiar with the 4D56 engine which i believe is a very old engine.
