Hmm. . .We all know that jeepneys have poor safety standards yet I let my family ride on it and so does the majority of the Filipinos.
We also know that almost everyday somebody riding a motorcycle meets an accident and yet many still patronize it.

I see the swift na makakagamit pa ng panganay ko pag high school na siya and college.. Sabihin natin after 15years e parang useble parin siya. when i was a new dad, we got a besta van.. wala pang innova noon. we never regretted it.. everything including two kitchen sinks (dalawa baby namin)... this, coming from a sedan owner..
when the kids got big, we sold the besta and got an innova. no regrets pa rin, even now, 10 years later.

That was also my plan. Five years ago I took great care of my Honda Civic FD which I plan to pass on to my son who also will be at driving age in 5 years.
True enough, he learned to drive using the Civic.
I got a new M3.
He liked the M3.
I'm back driving the Civic. . .hu hu hu. . .

After reading this thread.of the choices available pls consider also the nissan almera base manual.i think it's about 680k?not sure though. It has the biggest cabin in it's class with a 1.5ltr.engine that can haul your family during steep climbs and you get the best aircon system for those times you're in heavy traffic in noontime. I think the almera fits your bill sir.try to check it out before you decide on your purchase sir.just my opinion sir.

Maganda ang almera.. Pero parang hindi ako bumibilib sa nissan.. Reason yung urban nilang van e parang pag tumanda na e mahina na.. Sorry po.. Siguro kaka sakay ko ng uv express before.

It's alright sir philsat.i have the same sentiments before.but in the year 2000 my co.issued to me a nissan sentra.at first wala akong katiwa tiwala sa nissan.but after using it all my mindset about the brand changed.since then i drove nissan cars and never looked back.i just bought a new one recently.love it's simple build and price.best of all is the a/c.

Hope sir you would give it a short visit so you can see for yourself sir.

Btw sir philsat,the old nissan i was using is still with me.it only failed me once.naputol yun accelerator cable sa exit nang makati flyover. Madami na kaming pinagsamahan kaya binili ko na sya from the co.years ago.and Still the a/c is ice cold. The odo reading is 267,787.00kms and it's still the original engine.not yet overhauled. [emoji4]

I love my Swift. Pero hindi sya talaga for family use. I cannot imagine squeezing in kids or a childseat in there plus all the paraphernalia.
