    Around 20k separating both cars.

Corolla would be more practical in the City, but the Civic would be more exciting...

    Toyota Corolla Altis 1.8 V HV – P1,580,000
Honda Civic RS Turbo CVT - P 1,608,000.00

I would prefer the 1.6V over the two. If only we could find out the cost of battery replacement of the hybrid...locally...

I would still go with the Civic. Since we are talking about cars near the 2M mark, I would go for the new Accord turbo instead.

I was initially day dreaming of spending zero gas during the slow moving traffic of EDSA...

Then you made me remember that the Prius recommends a battery change after 8 years.

chrisfix on youtube replaced the battery pack on a prius. it was a good video. i think we can do it too. its the sourcing that im thinking about and the pricing. if 3rd party suppliers are ok then maybe its a good move to go hybrid.

    It's actually an easy decision.

If you want fast: Civic (no Honda Sensing!)

If you want fuel economy and a safer car: Corolla (Safety Sense)
But walang Apple Car Play and Android Auto ang Corolla I think.

Mukhang malaki lang sa labas.. pero masikip sa loob.. lalo na sa likod.. masyadong mababa yung roofline na tatama ulo mo pag baba

Question lang. iba ba ang hybrid implementation ng corolla vs sa prius?

I just watched a video wherein ang hyundai ionic is compared to a prius. sa presyo kasi magkalapit na magkalapit ang ionic at corolla hybrid at 1.580m.

    Thanks.
