The Patrol is another quick behemoth. 0-100 in 6.6s.

The Patrol Royale (Armada) with 5.6L V8 engine? That is quick truck for its size. I had a Nissan Armada as a rental when we were in SanFo back in 2019.

Yup, the Y62 Patrol. Quick and corners well for a behemoth. It has HBMC, a damping system similar to Toyota's KDSS.

or maybe makupad lang with an automatic.

The Ranger Raptor may have just a 2.0L displacement but the output is more than most diesel engines bigger than it is. 210hp/500Nm is even more than some 2.5L or 2.8L or 3.0L turbo diesels except maybe the Europeans.

Manual or MT, if the engine is not that powerful, I doubt it will cut a significant amount of time with its 0-100kmh sprint. If acceleration is of big importance for you in a vehicle, opt for a turbo gas.

In the US, there was a study that most speeders on the road are pickup truck drivers. Some of the full-size pickups are a bit quick though. Most cars couldn’t hold up to the sprint of the F150 V6 Ecoboost. 6 seconds on 0-100kmh (even a few ticks less on 0-60mph) is a feat for a truck over 2 tons! What more the Raptor and TRX?

Only once lang ako pumalo lampas 100mph, doon sa Indiana turnpike way back in 2005. Most of the time, between 75mph to 85mph (120-140 kmh) lang max speed ko dun, parang ganun lang din takbo ko sa SLEX.

Same hp/torque output vs the single turbo 2.5L but over a much wider RPM range. Kaya mas malakas ang hatak.

For pickups mabilis na yung under 10s 0-100 kph.

New Dmax is one of the fastest but still slow compared to other mainstream cars.
Bsta di niya daw trip yung lower cc + high output engines.
