the breakeven point of gas vs diesel is around 15000km per year from my calculations . if you do over 20,000km a year a diesel would be cheaper.

Hi sorry to hijack this thread (still cant create my own thread 😀). I just need the advise of the experts on what to buy between montero glx mt or xpander totl. The car will be used just mainly on weekends. Thanks in advance.

Will go for the other side of the coin and ignore practicality/savings.

Since you shortlisted the the montero, then go for it. It has better road presence and pretty much tested in the Philippine environment.
Lam mo naman sa Pinas kapag weekend, labasan ng mga premium vehicles. Mas may respeto din sa kalsada kung SUV ang dala mo compared to an AUV/MPV.
