    Only the Colorado went below 10 seconds. Maybe the Merc X-Class (Navara platform) with more potent engines will go much quicker.

    yes and its coming together with the Raptor. VWs V6 can do sub 8secs though..

    D-Max in Australia now has 430Nm! I'm quite amazed with the potential of this old engine, considering that they only changed the DPF for Euro 5 compliance. Once again, we are left with outdated tech. This despite the Euro 4 implementation. I suppose we won't be seeing this engine until such time that the government requires Euro 5 compliance. Getting new tech from Isuzu Philippines seems like pulling teeth.

    The aftermarket for diesels is really picking up, though... so even if your pick-up isn't super quick stock, you can tune it to some silly heights.

    ProFab's Fort now does under 13 seconds in the quarter mile. That's proportional to a six second 0-100 time.

    I'm betting you can get a Colorado down to the high 7 second to 100 range with bolt-ons only.

    more relevant if the test is "time to 100 meters up a 75% grade with 700kg in the bed". mud optional.
