January 12th, 2014 11:46 PM #11Altis, search how HARI handle customers with warranty claims and how they will void the warranty if you don't go for their version of scheduled PMS (which is more frequent than what the car manual actually says).

January 13th, 2014 10:00 AM #12thank you for creating the poll. ;)
I already informed my agent at hyundai that I might consider the new Altis but will have to see it 1st hand.
I have a friend who owns a tucson but he said warranty isn't an issue with him. After 2 years of using the tucson, problem with his fuel pump came up and need replacing. It took hyundai 3 weeks for the parts to arrive though.

Another vote for Altis here. Sabi ng customer ko makalampagin daw ang ilalim ng Elantra after a 2 years of using it.

m/t to m/t altis for me. Pero kung a/t to a/t elantra ako. Di pa subok cvt ng toyota. I prefer the traditional 6speed a/t of of hyundai maintenance wise.

The gen 10 Corolla 2.0 has a CVT. Ngayon lang sya nag trickle down to the 1.6. It uses a metal chain band instead of the rubber belt that another brand used before na nagkaroon ng problema.
Interestingly this year's Accent also gets the CVT. La pang balita if it's going to be used on the Elantra din. Exclusive: Features, prices of new Hyundai Elantra, Accent and Tucson | TopGear.com.ph
Kung looks lang paguusapan I'll take the Elantra. Overall Altis pa rin.Last edited by JohnM; January 13th, 2014 at 11:53 AM.

Altis, hands down.
Basis for suggestion is because I owned a Vios and owning a Toyota is very much problem free, based on my experience. Hyundai is OK too. I own 2 Hyundai vehicles, but the Altis is just good plus married to a bulletproof reliability, for sure. Heard horror stories for the Elantra.

January 13th, 2014 03:08 PM #20Altis for me. Ang ganda ng all new! Nevertheless, I was never a fan of the Elentra.
3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
