IMHO, the eon is only worth buying if you are considering the GL variant. Its cheaper and more fuel efficient. However, if you are considering the eon GLS variant, the mirage GLX is the better option since the price of the two cars are almost the same and the mirage beats the eon in almost all aspects. Its bigger, faster, and with more features.

I prefer the Mirage, but the Eon GLS is better kitted than the Mirage GLX.

The base Eon matches the Alto's price. And it's a much better car. The price wasn't "Makapal" when it was first launched. And it still isn't. It's just that the Mirage's price is incredibly low.

Hehe. Mas gusto daw nya talaga Mirage.

Overall, except for the fuel economy, the Mirage is the better car. The Mirage has comparable highway economy (actually, better at high speeds), but is not as good in traffic.
